Why do people write stuff like, "Friday Morning Grind," or "Monday night Demolition?"

I mean, its just working out. I don't get why people have to try and be "hardcore" about their workouts.  :-\ :-\ You see this all over instragram and twitter. :-\ :-\

Because they train and not "workout".

Because they train and not "workout".

So, there are thousands of people who train and don't write, "Friday Morning Grind."  :-\ :-\ I don't see the difference. People go to jobs every day and don't write that stuff.

Second, one can't assume she is working out any harder than I am or any other person. There are many people who are not training for olympic events who work out just as hard as she does.

Just seems like she is trying to be too "hardcore."  :-\ :-\

LOL....you understand THAT is her job, right?

So, people work extremely physical jobs 8-10 hours per day. They don't write down, "Friday Morning Grind." Are you saying she works harder than the construction worker who wakes up at 5am gets home at 9pm, and digs holes all day when its 5 degrees outside?

It appears to be specifically related to athletes who try to be "hardcore." Like the whole Danna Linn Bailey mindset.

I just don't understand why anyone has to write, "Friday Morning Grind" related to any job they have, let alone an athlete. Does it make them more "hardcore?"

It is because they are dumb, and they equate the physical aspect of "working out" as somehow superior, to the alternative options of graft.

Eg. someone gets up at 5am, runs 10k, goes to their office job, works 10 hours, makes in excess of 200k a year. Does this for 20 years straight. Never posts: "Monday grind" on social media, or iMessage.

Potato headed douche on getbig thinks: because they do not conform to my narrow view of the world, they are not doing the "Monday grind".

Potato headed douche dies of a heart attack before he is 60.......Thanks Obama!

I wish I could say that Friday grind was training at the Olympic training center and having eveything paid for as part of my job.
