Wife is really lookin to get skinny legs.
She has a 6 pack and literally zero fat deposits on upper body...
Below the waste, she packs all of into thighs and ass (fat, cellulite...no muscle tone anywhere in legs). She has trained with intense hiit cardio, etc. nothing works for her.
Not sure if u guys know what im talking about, if u have seen 30 something women in tennis skirts or shorts, its like each leg is a V shape down to the ankle. No curves or definition, just smooth fat from hip to toe. No calves, just cankle-ish (not obese person style, but zero shape). Calve and quad just one continuous leg.
I wish i could find an example online but no good pic.
The only thing wife hasnt tried is real weight training like hypertrophy style routines or splits. But
, what is the answer? She eats about 1900 cals mainly clean
-
It's going to take lowering her estrogen to get it off with t3 and clen. The reason she hold all her fat there is because of hornones. Get her some nolvadex
-
Not sure but I think trying some dumbbell lunges would help.

Shes on the pill. Would arimidex work?
-
Genetically that's where her body is storing fat. Weight training should bump her test and high reps, lower carbs should help but may also trim her upper body more.
I've given female friends workouts which I would be happy to post for you if you would like.To burn fat they have to be intense.

Waist down...
-
Concentration camp prisoners didn't have any problems with big legs. Less food more activity.

Google will help
Your wife needs to start lifting and eat less carbs, not take drugs that will fuck her up
You know which women have no estrogen ? Menopausal ones.
-

I'd smash that.

Maybe if she loses weight there will be things.

That's a little to extreme. Dont listen to these guy. My wife carries here weight all in her ass and legs. She was doing 80 mins of cardio on like 70 or 80 grans of carbs for 6 weeks at the end with tamoxifen citrate at 20 in the morning 20 at night I think it was.
It's extremely hard for bottom heavy women to loss weight especially if they have less then great genetics.
Also she has to start training with weights and add muscle to her legs or she will always be that soft skinny fat.
1900 cal is honest maybe great for the start of the diet to clean it up. But it cant stay there. If she's not pushing real weight and doing a good amount of cardio she will gain weight on 2000 cals or at least stay the same. It's got to come lower. By that I mean pull the carbs and fat lower
On a side note. Don't even think about using nolvadex until she starts getting a really training program and a on point diet down. Anti e is the major league for women she's still pop warner
-
Isnt 1900 cals a lot for a woman?
-
If she's unable to lose weight it's b/c 1900 kcal is too much for her. Has nothing to do with being "bottom heavy." Some special routine isn't going to do shit unless it's "burn more / eat less". Thermodynamics applied to chicks with fat legs too.
Adonis will be along shortly to corroborate this.
-
Really hoping this is just a joke...
You haven't figured out who this is yet?
-
Isnt 1900 cals a lot for a woman?
No it is. 1600 and lower it to as little as 1100 I've seen for contest diet

Amazing that bodybuilders know that weight training builds the best legs on a guy yet don't think that applies to women. Have her do weight training and see what results.
I haven't met a woman yet who is truly happy with her figure.
Instead of obsessing about her legs why not appreciate how fit and healthy she is. If she looks like the woman above then she looks okay as far as most people are concerned.

Weights for legs... Squats, walking lunges, standing calf raises, SLD's. She needs to shape her legs via bodybuilding.

She needs to build the muscle before she leans it out. I hate hearing women say "I need to tone up" no you need to have muscle to tone... Your all fat

Agreed and she will lose bodyfat gradually as she builds muscle. Training legs is a big muscle group and burns alot of calories. Compound movements are best!

I think you are right, its a matter of lowering calories and doing weights

Agreed. A little thick but still hot, would hit for sure.

Isnt 1900 cals a lot for a woman?
Adult population need very small amount food! I do weighttraining/cardio 2 houers/Day 76-7 days/week dosent belive I eat more than 2000kcal...I Bicycle to the gym, eat clean, dosent have a car.
If your not on drugs or doing endurance sport on national level your body is totally shut down! Especially after age 30...u need to cut the food to half and double your training time!
Look around you, 99.999% of allpeople are fat! Fat = no visual abs = more food than they need!
Your girl should eat maximum 1000kcal!
-
Last time I was in your situation I got myself a new girl with legs that met my expectations. It's easier and fixes the problem quicker.

Shes on the pill. Would arimidex work?
That may be a complication. You may want to find a sympathetic sports doctor for advice. There is a thought in the back of my head that Arimidex might decrease the efficacy of birth control pills.
-
I would suggest DIM. It's a hormone balancer and blocks the estriol 2 which is the bad estrogen. She can still take the birth control pill with it.
-
Sorry bro im lost here...
Dump her, get young slim 1 & don't bonk anything over 27 ;)

Tamoxifen blocks estrogen in breast tissue, and mimics estrogen in some other tissues (like bone). That's why it is called a selective estrogen receptor modulator..
How do you know if tamoxifen blocks estrogen in butt/leg fat, it could actually be an agonist in these tissues?
Im not a doc. I was told this by a pro Wpd, three different well know prep coaches. So I went with it and it worked. I'll look into it to more. I knew it was used to fight Brest cancer and stop binding at the breast but I'm not 100% about rise where
-
hopes to reduce wife's excess adipose but greatly enhances risk of uterine cancer and blood clots.. hmmmm?! depends what matters most in life eh? these drugs will drastically throw off your women's hormonal balance... FYI pls get her checked out 1st before just poppin' her shit..
-
BTW Endometrial Cancer is a bitch
-
Just have her workout hard. You would have to be a real asshole to start your wife or gf on bodybuilding drugs. It's one thing to risk your own health but your partners. Who cares if she isn't perfect.
-
agreed.. these drugs should never be administered unless proven necessary...Tamoxifen is selective --while antagonizing breast estrogen receptors..it WILL enhance estrogen sensitivity within her endometrium... n that's where the bad stuff starts happening.. down the line..esp if that is your wife.. there are far greater things to be concerned with..

Would have her KiSS my balls and then some...

"Thin Fatties" ~ so typical in the gym.
Their bodies are not set up hormonally to build muscle in the legs. The legs are designed to hold fat (which turns to cottage cheese fat after childbirth) this fat is built when pregnant to assist in feeding the baby and in lactation.
She can exercise all she wants. As long as her hormones are set as that of a woman (which many are NOT nowdays) she will just burn up what little muscle tissue she has in her legs as energy for the rest of her exercise program.
Calories have everything and nothing to do with this female phenomenon.
She would have to change her hormonal protocol and add fat burners that target these stubborn areas. Unfortunately, the hormones and drugs needed do have long-term side effects, not to mention the fact that she will realize that unless she has these drugs in her protocol she will always have that skinny-fatty look.
Now her priorities change. Motherhood becomes second nature, if that.
Down the road her thyroid shuts down. Eventually she looks as if she has never worked out at all.
If her bodyfat gets low enough, her period stops. Now her whole system is upside-down and out of kelter.
It's too bad, it's a curse and a blessing, deciding which road you choose.
In order for a woman to be fit like a competitor, she must defy everything that her genetic makeup has delt her.
She has a right to be muscular and fit, but I've said it a million times before. At what cost? Her cost far surpasses that of a man who just wants to be bigger, more muscular with less bodyfat.
Many of her side effects to drug usage will be irreversible.
Receding hair line, possibly even premature balding, deeper voice, thyroid shutdown, stopped period, clit bigger than her son's wanker....
the list goes on....
for what? A plastic trophy? Attention? More selfies on IG and FB?
Oh wait, she just wants to "look good'... that's what they all say... in the beginning.

Girls and sons who have not been loved by their fathers seek attention once teens and adults to compensate for what they didnt have originally. Fathers either left them alone, or were distant most of the time and not encouraging them. Some even despised them which would shape their personality and the way they d interact with others for the rest of their life.
They are extremistic in everything they do, always looking exageratly for attention, and have troubles adapting to society's rules, because they also have troubles defining their own identity and respecting authority and hierarchy.
Also boys who got picked on by others during childhood and adolescence -often sons without a father figure- try to compensate by lifting weights, to develop muscles and survive in ther male world. They re insecure because they re girly, childish, feminine having been raised by a single mom. They lift obsessively hoping it will transform them into men, to compensate for their lack of influence from a father figure that was not there. Unfortunaltey they can get as big as they can it doesnt cure their insecurity and who they truly are, how they grew up being raised by a single mom. They re no as manly as other men whatever they do, and they often have a big lack of masculine presence they dont know how to balance, hence often being borderline homosexuals while trying to get their manhood back thru various manly activities (mma, cars, weight lifting etc). They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males will go the steroids route to get even "bigger" attemptint to cure their insecurity , but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didnt have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

Are you feeling okay? This is so out of character for you... Such a depressing and hopeless post. Anybody male or female can shape their body through resistance weight training. No drugs are required. Consistant weight training will help women raise their natural test and gh levels.

Do you realize how many times I run into this dilemma with females?
I train competitors who take things to the extreme and I train soccer-moms.
"Consistent" is what that question was all about, and they wonder why they are not getting results. I spoke the truth on that topic and I spent a lot of time doing it.
I don't know who you deal with in your day, but bringing a female competitor to a win on stage is no easy task.
They are either using drugs and everything is fairly easy, or they aren't and things are nearly impossible. I don't want to lead a non-drug user down that road, but they see these other females dropping fat and gaining muscle overnight.
I have to ask you the same question.
If you think for one second that "consistent' weight training is going to get rid of that stubborn fat on a natural females legs, you are delusional. That fat connects itself to the bone. They call it 'dimpling' or cottage cheese or whatever. Once that happens, that fat is pretty much there to stay... if she wants to remain feminine and hormonal accordingly.
Only a natural female competitor should comment on the difficultly of losing that fat.
Ask yourself this question: If consistent weight training got rid of that fat, why would a female turn to P.E.D's?
Why would anyone for that matter?
Please don't say it's because they want the results faster. There is much more to P.E.D usage than quicker results. More like 'better' results.
Why isn't the Mr. Olympia a drug-tested event again? Oh, that's right. All the competitors are natties. My bad.

Some women seem to be blessed with the ability to build great legs, just like some blokes can also. Don't think there is a blanket conclusion you can come to regarding this. There are certainly many natural women with awesome, stacked legs.

Great legs and calves!
Thanks Kwon.

If you do not have the genetics of very firm, tight skin and you're beginning to get saggy you can only increase the underlying volume to make the "shrink wrap" appear better.
I have come across the "I don't wanna have thick legs" line too many times.
A woman, and also man, has in essence the route of bulking up somewhat to gain a better and fuller figure.
-
Booty, the point is: what works for you doesn't always work for other women. I'm sure you get those frustrated women that just can't seem to tighten up or remove that unwanted and stubborn fat
It's good that they see you, but sometimes when they can't achieve what you have they start thinking something is wrong with them.
Obviously you have been in the game for a while and youve never really let yourself get too far out of shape.
There is much more to this scenario that I just don't have time to type out.
I'm sure you get women all the time looking to you for answers and you know at the bottom of your heart, that they will never look like you no matter how hard they try.
Obviously you don't tell them that, but you seem them struggle for a period of time.. and then more often than not, they give up. Who knows what they are thinking at that point. Maybe they think its hopeless.
You can preach to them about nutrition and consistency, but you will still have those problematic areas with women who have certain genetic faults... whatever you want to call them.
Hopefully you understand what I am getting at. I don't talk to clients as if there is no hope, but sometimes as time goes on, it does get exasperating, especially when they really do try so hard.
The only reason I am saying this here is because this is a bodybuilding and fitness board. We should try to be honest once in a while.
-
... and you do look great.
You always have.
That doesn't mean that a woman who follows your routine is going to look anything like you... but you already know that.
-

You may be correct overall but cellulite, the dimpling, is due to the skin not being evenly thick. The fat itself isn't special.
And it may be because it actually works as estrogen in adipose tissue that it helps "buring" fat.
Estrogen doesn't hinder fat loss, on the contrary it's a lipolytic hormone, according to my readings from years ago.

Thank you but I still had to work hard and always stored fat in my legs like many women. My upper half leans out quicker than my lower half and I did up to 3 hours of brisk walking plus weights in the final weeks of my preps. I found that building more muscle in the legs does tighten them but of course you have to keep your bodyfat from getting too high. My off season still consisted of cardio and eating clean most of the time. The way you talk is too negative. You have to encourage women to work at it and be patient. And they must find what works for them whether it's more cardio less calories etc. One thing I am certain of though is that building muscle helps to tighten up the legs which looks better.
-
Booty what do you do for a living just curious.
-
Great posts Dys and Booty and all others. Dont worry, not going to have her jump on anti-e, and her estrogen is in range so no need really. I think backing off the brutal HIiT cardio, and decreasing cals are the answer. Maybe even carb manipulation

Its going to come down to her nutrition. I'd be willing to bet she's probably over 18% body fat. Once she gets down to 12-13% it will be a different story.

Hey Boot, try Xenical $120 per pack (generic 1) , U can get it without prescription in NSW , perhaps in Q. too ;) easy way to drop 5-7 kg in 4 weeks :)
What would U give 4 a ice cold 10ml of HGH 8) (no coins)
Also I have access to pro sporty 'mango juice' with very short names ( like 3 latters & 1 number ;)) , but very $$$
:-*

carb manipulation is great and HIT never did anything for me. I tried it during one of my comps and didn't get as good results as brisk walking for a longer period of time.

I am guessing that's to reduce my estrogen??? I am not interested in sending myself into menapause. I will stick to DIM which is basically similar to eating a whole heap of brocolli, cabbage and cauliflower.

Its going to come down to her nutrition. I'd be willing to bet she's probably over 18% body fat. Once she gets down to 12-13% it will be a different story.
She was measured at 17 the other day. Is 12 even possible for a natural non competing female?

Some types of Cellulite can be caused by underlying fat cells protruding outwardly, while simultaneously the connective tissue, called septae, hold the skin in place causing a rippled, or orange peel appearance- similar to a leather chair that has large amounts of stuffing pillowing out while buttons hold the leather skin tightly to the internal rigid structure of the chair....
You can be a rather obese person and still have no cellulite, particularly if you’re male....
"Septae"
There is a type of connective tissue underneath your skin that helps connect your dermis (a skin layer) to the underlying tissues, known as fibrous septae. As you age, this septae can become hardened. This can pull on your skin from the inside. There are also two main ways these septae can connect. In women, they have been shown to tend towards a more perpendicular structure. In men, they have been shown to tend towards a 45 degree angle. This difference in the connective structure of some septae, combined with hormone issue we will talk about later, is thought to account for why women are more likely than men to have cellulite.
This, my friend, is a bit of discouraging news for women, is it not?
Also, booty, I concur: If you fill a deflated balloon, it will thin out the layer of plastic.
Same with skin and muscle tissue, a great way to get rid of wrinkles, hence the popularity of Botox, laser surgery, face-lifts, etc, etc.
Of course the best way to do this would be to build muscle under the skin to pull it tight
Sometimes people lose their wrinkles in the face just by becoming more "plump"
The dilemma here is genetics: How long has the woman been fat? How long has she gone without exercise? Since adipose tissue in these problematic areas on women are mainly caused by high levels of estrogen, poor diet and lack of exercise, you have to look at the aging process for each individual.
A woman that has kept herself in much better shape throughout her youth is going to look better than a woman who waits until she is 50 to hit the gym. Chances are, a woman at 50 won't be able to make much appreciable gains with the improper format of high estrogen, diet un-checked for too long, etc. etc...
Add in some cigs and some alcohol for a good 30 years and she probably won't make any progress at all, as most people are looking for that "overnight-magic-pill" effect.
It is what it is, and I'm just being honest.
To tell a woman that has just stepped into the gym and is in her late 40's that she can look like Nikki Fuller would be a lie, even if she had the proper "assistance"
In this instance, I feel that women are cursed.... and so do they.
Truth?
