The cold, hard truth is the drum intro is a scam. All electronic effects and not a double bass drum solo.

This. Quick, repeated four-strokes on the floor tom, almost like a hanging triplet (if there is such a thing), or a triplet-plus. You can find YouTubers doing it on home kits.

Vinny Appice does a similar snare version on the Stand Up and Shout intro.

I'd rather be a skinny dude like ^ him & a musical talent like his drumming skill than some fatass loser sitting around playing some video game critiquing some football or basketball game.
