#Repost @liftstudios with @repostapp.・・・Crazy to think I took this shot of @philheath about 10 years ago. Few people in the #bodybuilding community (outside of Colorado) had really seen him until these photos went up on Getbig. There were haters, people claiming photoshop but those who truly followed bodybuilding knew he had something special. I had magazines and supplement companies contacting me left & right. The thing that really separated Phil from others then and now... He lived up to & surpassed the hype. #tbt props to #thegift

Getbig wasnt like this "back in the day." When race came into play, it was more lighthearted and poking fun.
However, that has changed within the last few years, maybe even more recently. Now its becoming extremely personal and hateful.

When i started posting there were mostly arguments on IFBB show placings, "gh guts" , Shawn Ray, Kamali kitchen pics and Dennis James "8 Weeks Out" discussions.
Its a bit different lately.

Of course people are going to discuss race and politics, but now it seems like its the main focus of conversation. Instead of it being light banter.

I think we poke humour at everything and everyone here but at times, it's focused a bit much on black people and it makes the place look bad.
Not asking for cencorship but perhaps to be a bit more considerate at times. But that can be like adding gasoline to a fire here...

Every other race have that obvious brother/sister hood mentality, but without being racist. White people only have that mentality in neo nazi type environments.
I remember when I was doing my service in the army, some guys were openly racist. And being a total nut job, I wasn't in their favor. Until we had a wrestling competition, the award was one extra holiday. I faced a black dude and all the white guys who constantly gave me shit were cheering for me all of a sudden.
