I was thinking of heading down to Orlando and taking in the IFBB Europa show weekend.
From where I live in N. Ga. , it's a good 9 hr drive ( 450 miles, mostly highway).
The ATL Braves are in town the same weekend.
I already have some " use anytime" game vouchers /tickets.
It's aprox an hr drive each way to Turner Field and no hotel needed.
I can also spend some $$ dining out with the wife, at a nice restaurant.
I haven't been to a pro contest since 2007.
I'm leaning towards going to the Braves and dining out with the wife.
I enjoy that and have been disappointed with the BB contest scene in recent years.
What would you do?

Hmmm, lets see.
Drive 9 hours alone to a contest to look at oiled men in thongs.
OR
Spend time with the wife, have a nice day at a baseball game and dinner, and get lucky at the end of the night.
The answer is obviously clear: Go to the bodybuilding show.

That really cracked me up. Classic getbig.

Lol x2. You can't go wrong with the thong
LOL, epic rhyme.
The years I was functional and happiest as a bodybuilder was:
1. I worked out and competed in local regional, state level shows.
2. Rarely went to pro or national contests.
3. Didn't use drugs or take gimmick supplements.

Is the 9 hr drive home enough to mentally picture yourself oiling up
the top 5?
Go to the BB show. If you're lucky, Cedric McMillan will take a picture of his c--k with your iphone.

LOL, no, but half way thru the solo 9 hr drive, I'd be wondering what the fuk I was doing.
Maybe, if the Mayor of BB talked me thru it, I'd soldier on without fear or doubt creeping in. :o

So, what did you wind up doing?

Never. I went to the 2010 NY Pro and loved every minute of it. Best day of my life.

Do you live close to NY or did you make a 9 hr drive?
