Title: Zack "King" Khan Joins MuscleSport Magazine
Post by: Joe Pietaro on April 29, 2015, 11:19:23 AM
The former FLEX athlete has joined forces with my publication and will be writing a monthly column in print and online. He is also going to be the cover feature of our upcoming Spring 2015 issue:

Zack Khan looks like he has about 3 brain cells left, and will most likely be dead in a few years.

Khan will be on the cover of our spring issue with a feature article from our sit down with the United Kingdom resident. On the docket was his new supplement line, ZKK Underground Research (which is backed by a Middle Eastern investor who just happens to be one of the Sheiks from Bahrain) and preparing for his next competition in September at the Arnold Classic Europe in Madrid, Spain.

I started the company in 2008 as a website, then an online magazine in 2009. The accompanying print version started in 2012.

I ran it as a side business while I worked for other publications (New York Sportscene, FLEX, Muscular Development) but have been putting my full effort into it after being let go by MD in September. Since then, we have added Gregg Valentino, Lee Priest, Vic Richards, Dave Palumbo, Robbie Durand (former MD & FLEX Editor-in-Chief), Bostin Loyd, Ariella Palumbo, Marc Lobliner, Bob Bonham, lauren Powers, Eric The Trainer, Dana Capobianco and Kirk Radomski (central figure in the MLB steroid scandal).

The online columns vary in size and the print columns will be longer.

Nice!  Another magazine containing ground breaking information for body builders!

It's about time someone thought up this idea.

You should really have a Section called "the Ice-machine Confessions"  like hustler stories but involving bodybuilders /fitness whores

after flipping through all the pages a nice tug at the end would be rewarding

Thanks. Bob has an article in the current issue all about Strong & Shapely Gym and the different big names who have trained there over the years. He still has the gym, too.

I'm looking to put together a roster that the other magazines wouldn't have the balls to. Outspoken guys, gear talk, female muscle worship stuff...the kind of material that has been forgotten in this non-hardcore, MPD/bikini-laden industry.

Service-oriented articles (and videos for the website), as well as entertaining stuff. Bodybuilding isn't the most exciting topic in the world, so you have to think out of the box. If you want vanilla, stick with MD and FLEX.

You need to hire Sergio Olivia Jr. Create a series of articles tilled " My Father's - Mine" have him write what he is doing for body parts and what his Father did ( include photos) Do the same for meals, cardio, cycles.

That would be cool.

Fuck does he ever. Sounds liks such a "dumb dumb" that guy. That clip of him going "yo, yo, this is Zack Khan with my main man... Roelly" the little hesitation he had before saying his name and the look in his face was the classic idiotic meathead you see in cartoons.

Not hating, just noticing...

No one can ever duplicate what Joe and Ben Weider did. They were the trail blazers for everything in bodybuilding media since they started "Your Physique." But the truth of the matter is that since AMI took over their titles, things have not been the same.

And MD is akin to that old movie "Sybil" with the multiple personalities. They don't know what direction to go in but I do know one thing about them - their product is horrendous in comparison to what it was even a few years ago.

And a lot of the people that made it the "World's Biggest Bodybuilding Magazine" are working with my company now. Guys like Gregg Valentino, Dave Palumbo, Robbie Durand and Lee Priest.

Joe, good to hear, good luck with it, the more print mags still in existence, the better off IMO.
Just ordered the latest issue to check it out...

Thanks! Received the order and will get that right out to you. I'm from the print industry & want to at least have it as part of my company. We focus on promoting the online version and rest of the web stuff, but will still do a print version.
