I did not see the fight last night.
But given that there was no knock-out, the winner was determined by judges, scoring the contestants. Just like bodybuilding winners are determined by judges scoring the contestants.
The consensus on this board and from what I saw on TV last night, is that Mayweather was the winner. But, I saw a few that though Pacquiao was the winner.
My question for all you boxing experts, is boxing judged more fairly than bodybuilding contestants?

I think I've lost count of the amount of robberies I've seen in boxing.

Bodybuilding is subjective the other one isn't. I wanted Manny but Mayweather clearly won. The percentages don't lie.

there is more of a battle on stage at the olympia then in a ring in a mayweather fight

Boxing is still factual and facts don't lie. Pacquiao only landed 81 out of 400+ punches thrown, can't remember Mayweather's stats but they were considerably better.
You don't get that in bodybuilding where there is no skill involved - it is pretty much entirely subjective.

compubox uses two operators who are onsite or remote. again, how the hell did they come up with the power punch stats? also, note they score punches based on the history of the boxer they studied for the fight. in other words fmw could get power shots for pot shots or touch shots he uses as range finders. their CEO did an interview and explained how the click process works. no issue with winner but stats are odd, based on what i saw with my eyes.

Perhaps that's one of the problems with bodybuilding competitions, the judging is so subjective.
