Basically ttoo much of it leads to calcium deposits in muscle, feet or joints
Baking soda is a phosphorus binder , shitting it out
-
calcium and phosphorus have an inverse relationship
that's why people with ESRD have to limit phosphorus intake cause it can cause calcification of blood vessels etc...they have altered acid/base balance
phosphate excretion is diminished in Renal failure leading to hypo-calcemia which also contributes to bone loss (pathological Fx's) as does the diminished synthesis of Vit D inherent in renal failure.
with that said, a normal healthy individual have internal controls (buffers etc) which help to maintain a good acid/base balance.
-
so trying to invent a diet based on one singular chemical property/relationship without understanding the pathophysiology of the human body is foolish

no one is "normal", few are truely healthy

well watching your backward progress through the years towards obesity and diabetes certainly don't make you a beacon for health and advice ;)

exactly! Ill just take your word for it!yes doing nothing seems to be the key here to figuring it all out
Of course you dont mean that but you did say basically not to modify one ingredient at the time

i dont have muscle pain
most people have a form of arthritis ,

What can be done against it from your point of view?

phosphorus is in all food ,its not bad but it can get out of balance causing calcium deposits
What nb fails to realize we all are at different levels of healthy and unhealthy, elementary concept, thus all precautionary measures are advised
Baking soda binds to phosphorus and flushes it out

Im no holy roller but i can argue an idea without fault and will point out yours

lets strengthen bones and not be breaking bones
