Yes he is. Every part of his life is better then yours.

Yep. Pretty much that.

Just end it now (or get a bike).

sounds to me you're hot on the man who drives the motorcycle, not so much riding it your self ;D

I rode for years, it is easy to romantacise motor bikes, but they are only real good in decent weather, get a really cold, windy or rainy day and riding for any length of time sucks.  You can't carry fuck all and the potential for serious injury or death goes up of course.  Never mind just dropping the bike off the stand can cause thousands of dollars of damage.  I don't ride anymore and I don't miss it.  The luxury and comfort of a modern V6 automatic Toyota is far superior to any motorbike.

This was the last bike I owned.

It's a great hobby, but it's not all it's made out to be.

I've had motorcycles my entire life.  I ride almost every weekend.

If you buy one, be prepared to almost die every time you ride it.  A lot of terrible drivers on the road make it a hazardous endeavour.

I use to ride when I was younger. You can do everything right and safe but you can't control the way other people drive. People will hesitate to make a left in front of a car but some reason that only a master psychiatrist can explain they have no trouble doing that in front of a motorcycle. One of the major reasons for fatal motorcycle accidents.

I was all set to get back into riding when within a month I saw two brutal motorcycle accidents. Lastly I went into a show room to check out a Honda Interceptor and the sales person wheels out in a wheel chair. I came home and got on the phone with swimming pool companies. My pool opens for the season in two weeks.

I stopped riding since my daughter was born. I love doing it but the risks are very high. Now i'm more into 4-wheelling, if i want to feel the wind in my face i lay the windscreen on the bonnet  ;D.

Tell me about your 790.

I have built a dr650 supermoto.....done just about everything possible to it without this big bore 790cc kit.  I have been on the fence re this final step.

And yes to the OP.....get a bike.  Don't jump into liter bike first (or even GSX-r750).

Do it now before you have a kid.  Once my son was born, it made riding these bikes the way they are meant to be ridden much more difficult.

A show about a middle aged man who promises high school boys the solution to their problems if they'll follow him into the public restroom raises no eyebrows, but get him to waterski over a shark one time and

watch the videos of bike rider accidents on youtube.

99/100 of them are the rider's own fault in that they werent riding to conditions or being cautious.

yes plenty of them were due to the driver doing the wrong thing, but even in a car u are taught to not assume they will be predictable.

on a bike you have to ride smarter. ive ridden for years and never had an accident. got a 2012 softail with kinda resembles the stock bike.

dont ride like a fuckwit and youll be fine.

Saw a couple of Harley riders sans helmets out riding (NH doesn't have a helmet law, so lots of folks come up here to go au naturale). Regular guys with two of the fattest fucking warpigs on the back. Big, flabby white skinbags of fat.

Come to think of it, I've never see a ripped chick on a motorcycle. What's up with that?
