This guy gives Republicans a bad name. Unfortunately, there is a portion of the electorate who are uneducated and plain stupid. He is a diabetic who smokes...that makes him a complete idiot. Now I am no fan of Obamacare but for the original author to act like this would have saved his eyes is retarded. The guy probably would have gotten one of those bogus plans on the exchange that only a select few physicians would accept. Prior to going to a specialist, his family practice doc would have to refer him to someone in his network, which may have been miles from his home. Moreover, the Obamacare plans have very high deductibles so a surgeon would have probably wanted cash up front. Even then, the dude is hosed. He continues to smoke so he will have proliferative diabetic retinopathy and arteriosclerosis. His ass is going blind with or without Obamacare. The problem is that he needs a brain transplant  ::)
