This Wlike be standard procedure say if Cali had a massive earthquake and the military had to restore order or God forbid there was a nuclear attack. They have to train for these thing even if it's has a low probably of galling

reagan set this up, and every prez has kept in place since. it makes perfect sense. a meteor comes, a giant quake, some mass plague in MEX and 30 million people flood over the border in a month... ya just never know what bad shit may happen, and you have to have plans in place to control/manage millions of angry, hungry, sick or just plain crazy people.
reagan set it up, so repubs can relax :) there will never be martial law in the USA because when that happens, people stop going to work, stop paying taxes. Everyone who is rich is getting richer while us peons plug away working for 70 years. No sense in locking up people for 'control' or whatever. We're already enslaved lol, it's working great.
I used to worry about that stuff, I really dont anymore. we have awesome lives, we live the best any generation ever has. i can play minecraft or talk to people thousands of miles away or view donkey porn at my fingertips. I can eat any food, I can live anywhere, read anything. We are blessed to be in the USA, blessed to have our situation like it is. Very tough places in the world. When I hear people say "Obama is a dictator!", I have to wonder if they've ever really read about stalin, sadaam, etc. lol

Must be pretty anti-climactic to obsess over some silly Chicken Little scenarios your whole life, only to die in a boring bed, inside a boring hospital, among boring immigrant staff ... old and sick and insignificant, like everyone else.
No second coming. No zombie apocalypse. No reptilian assassins. No NWO deathcamps. No alien invasion. Just catheters and bedsores, and the regret of misspent energy.

If you had watched the video, you would see they are chasing down "sovereign citizens" and "constitutionalists" in some of these drills.
What has that got to do with earthquakes..

Fortunately there are some level headed respones. This is a very normal training exercise. The public doesn't need to see these things JUST FOR THIS REASON.. People freak out and call it something it most definitely isnt...
That being said - you can't possibly be one of those "country boy can survive - the military would get an ass kicking if the come on MY property" fools.. There was a movie that I can't remember the name of about a Nasty Guard company getting lost in the swamp and some coon asses killing them... That was just a movie.. I can assure you that a platoon of Marine infantry - hell a squad - would literally be a nightmare for a couple hundred rednecks and hill-billies.. I was raised in the swamp and grew up hunting - fishing - froggin - gators everywhere - and when I joined the Corps I lesnred that I didnt know shit

The avarge person has no idea what really trained infantry is capable of. But there are always those people that think there 30-30 is going to be able to defend against a bunch of training killers with years of training and a unlimited spend budget ::)

If ANY group of trained and heavily armed soldiers confront as you put it "country boys" or something like that, you are correct assuming civilian failure.
If you're saying if the military goes into takeover mode country-wide...I think a different outcome may result. Just refer to any revolutionary government takeover to see that it can be done...
