i was wrong! what a wonderful ending and well written story with a beautiful soundtrack. great movie if you haven't seen it. almost teared up at the end. :'(

the ending stunk. apart from that, it wasn't bad overall.

Jack Reacher was good. Way better than expected

I enjoyed both but the Star Trek was a better film by far probably due to my familiarity with the characters. I usually buy my films as I have a 400 Disc Sony ES Blu Ray Changer now to supplement my Laser Disc Player and collection of several hundred laser discs. I like movies, not TV. Weird, I know. Well, older shows such as the original The Prisoner or The Man from U.N.C.L.E and others I do enjoy. I have Roger Moore's show, "The Saint" on DVD.

I haven't seen it but it's been getting horrible reviews :-\

Oblivion was okay. Nothing super-memorable.

Cruise's other recent one (Edge of Tomorrow) is I think one of the best sci-fi movies ever. Emily Blunt is also smoking hot in it.

Edge of Tomorrow was good. I hop that they do a follow up.

About Jupiter Ascending, from the trailer it looks good. Different. Not your usual alien movie.

It was a huge disappointment for me. Don't know what's going on in Wachowskis' heads, but they filmed Cinderella/Beauty and the Beast in space with a complete miscast for the main character. Probably they tried to make little girls happier or smthn, but hardly a surprise it's a box office disaster. People wanted movie like Matrix or Cloud Atlas, not a disney cartoon.

It's actually a great movie and the music helps building it up alot!

To everyone who havent seen Oblivion, go see it asap!

the movie was the book of revelations. a great idea, not written perfectly but nothing ever is. for a sci-fi flick, it's a B+, does well for its' genre.

Post by: The Ugly on June 24, 2015, 04:35:06 PM: Finally saw this. Man, the story was pretty damn good. Vastly underrated film, I'd say. Saw Edge of Tomorrow, too. Also well done, just got a little tiresome halfway in with all the time-travel redos and such.
