"hiang Mai, May 22 – Muay Thai fighter Bandasak Chaiyasan was suspended by the World Muay Thai Council today when X-Ray images surfaced showing that he had fought with a titanium shin implant without disclosing it to the athletic commission during a bout on May 16th in Chiang Mai, Thailand. These x-rays emerged just days after his recent victory via headkick KO."

Slippery story, that implant would be too expensive by Thai standard ::)
-

His implant is no different than Siliva...he had it put in after he snapped his leg.

Do you have any titanium parts Melvin?
-
No big deal according to Patriots fans.

Hey Vince, is it a Caliber Advanced Prosthetics implant? I suspect not - the X-ray clearly shows that there isn't enough bee pollen in there, but I figured Thai X-ray machines may not do proper beam hardening and result in poor quality radiographs.

Not neccesarily if done by a vet, spesializing in chickens and frogs, in a local food joint kitchen after closing...

What's his contact info? Will see if I can get some calves for myself and heckle the price since we're two paying customers.

I hear Vince is the one to talk to for that.

Image shows an intramedullary rod placed previously for a fracture, nothing out of the ordinary.
Did he have a plate inserted over the bone??

Yes, this seems like standard operating procedure. What I find interesting, is that his camp claims a fracture necessitated this. I see no evidence of a fracture on his tibia, where where the rod is placed. However, there's some evidence of a previous fracture of the fibula. It's possible that he broke both his fibula and the tibia, but I'm not convinced. That's not an injury you recover from and remain competitive.

It's like a fucking super power :o

However, there's some evidence of a previous fracture of the fibula.
Incorrect. There is evidence of prior tibial fracture at the distal diaphysis. Notice the smooth periosteal reaction along both the medial and lateral cortices at that location.

Wow, you are right - I enlarged the picture and it's plain as day: evidence of a tibial fracture, exactly as you said. I stand corrected. So it seems that he broke both the fibula and the tibia. I wonder if it happened at the same time. Frankly, if I had sustained such a break, and recovered fully from it, I'd retire and count my blessings.
