I swear, the shit people wear to the gym is amazing. Ive always said if you want to see a circus show, go to the gym. You will see the oddest people. Here are some of the people Ive seen at my gym:
1) Old man wearing jeans and a collar shirt
2) Girl wearing practically nothing. She may as well be in a bikini
3) the guys dressed like the OP
4) Guy wearing hooded sweat shirt with beats by dre headphones
5) Some guy dressed like an 80s bodybuilder
6) Guy dressed for a heavy metal concert

I have to admit, I tried tights for the first time in my life. It was raining like hell outside but I had to do my bicycle run, so I put combat speedos and a light jacket on.
almost every other car used their car horn and shouted some vile crap while they passed me, all guys too.... I will never wear tights again, I felt like I should kill myself.

same. I have no wish at all to communicate with these types of people, or publicise my life online for a bunch of people to read about, who i couldn't care less about. The people that matter, i see daily, and the ones that i don't get to see often, i speak on the phone or email.
Back when I started in bodybuilding, you had to compete in contests to get status/ attention.
I'll admit that being noticed as a competitive bodybuilder was pretty cool.
Now, a gym rat can gain a lot more attention via savvy use of social media.
The problem is , you don't have to achieve anything to be popular.
Rich Piana is a great example of this phenomenon and feels it's the smart path.

We had a kid turn up with black tight things under his shorts and he was laughed out the gym... Reminded me of some show we were at, had a huge table, one of the lads turned up wearing a bandanna, was he fuck sitting down with us, he gad to sit on his own till he took it off

I'd guess the Aventador belongs to his rich schmoe or dad, and the Gallardo is what they either loaned him or perhaps gave him.
A 2005 Gallardo with low miles and in good condition would be a smarter purchase for just about anyone not worth $100 mil or more and not earning at least 8 figures a year. Maybe at that point I could see myself blowing $500k or more on a car and trading it in at a 6 figure loss for a new one every year. Until then, I'll just stick with a very nice Lexus bought for a small fraction of that that I keep for at least a couple of years - I like making and piling up money more than spending it.
