Good thread title, very true especially for a natural. Don't get me wrong keto works great but who can stick to it?  I find low cal a lot easier.

How much mass you added lately?..... Your gaining nothing but better conditioning, or its not natural bodybuilding

2,000 cal is very low if you are doing 2 cardio sessions and a weight training session every day. .maybe maintainance mode if you aren't very active and just training, but its a little more then 300 cal per meal ..spread out into 6 meals..thats not much.

2000 cals is just a made up number, everyone has a point at which they are just under enough to loose fat.

In before they say "bah, just eat all your cals post training" or some bullshit like that, lol...
2k cals on 2 cardio and one weight session=burnout in every sense.

Ritch, i spend about 40-50 on TUT sets with weights and maybe 20-25 minutes on a bike EOD. I also do 2000 kcals at the moment. Is that too much working out for that level of cals? Im only losing maybe 1-2lb a week at the moment

No idea how I'm supposed to answer that. NO description of total sets, total time int the gym. As far as your own tolerance to volume and stuff, surely you know what is best for you. But when dieting, don't push any set too much past failure. Remember... YOu want to lose fat while AT BEST keeping as much mass as possible.

Anything started, usually produces gains. The honeymoon lasts 3 weeks or so most the time. Then all the "oh this is working so great!" comments tend to fade.. Thing is, what are you gonna do when the weight stops coming off? Go to 1800 cals?

And the fact you actually took the advice of that 2k cal dude is beyond laughable. No offense.

Bodybuilding should only get complicated when you're an IFBB pro. Other than that, its not "rocket science." Train hard and consistent and eat a well balanced diet.

i dont think you need to train hard or eat a well balanced diet.

i agree with consistent, so 1 outta 3 you got right

You don't even have to try to do that.  Without giving it any thought, you will meet nutrition needs easily.  That is unless you live in Bangladesh or something.

Ta, can you expand on this?  You don't think there has to be some thinking into what you're putting into your body?

Yeah, the training hard thing is stupid too actually.  Once you meet your genetic potential (which happens REALLY fast if training consistently) , no amount of "hard training" is really going to matter at all.  Even if you do better on lifts or what have you, its doubtful that it will have any effect at all really appearance wise.

No, but clearly some people may be deficit in certain areas if they are not eating enough type of foods.

Well ritch, i plan to get a lil leaner before slowly ramping up with cals and drugs, because ive always used higher doses when already perma bulker stage and never looked how i wanted. Im dieting down to 9-10 percent and then slowly ramping up. The lowest i will go this summer is 1800-1900 cals. Ive done 1600 before and it worked but crashed hard. This time im only touching 1800 at the very lowest if i need to and only for a week or so.
