And I think you're wrong. Obama was the mythical "numinous knee grow" that came out of left field. Hillary was the defacto candidate up until 8 months before the primary.

The Obama wave was like nothing else seen in modern electoral politics and swept aside all that was "known" about who's "turn" it is.

If only the Stupid Party would learn that lesson and quit running folks that have "paid their dues"

I think rudy gave the 2004 keynote speech too. It's the place to highlight the presumptive winner in many people's eyes.
