Yeah do they have legs? It wouldn't make sense for them to train them as hard as their upper bodies because no one sees their legs. It's such a beauty pagent.. Fucking hell.

I've competed in physique. I train legs twice a week and squat 3 times a week (I rotate in squat days every 2 weeks). Has nothing to do with showing them off, I just like training legs. If I was big enough I'd compete in bodybuilding, but since I wouldn't be competitive there I do physique.
I'm sure many physique guys don't train legs because their end goal is to show what they have on stage, but that's not my end goal. Competing just makes me diet down and not be a fatass year round.

The most important factor in one's metabolism is lean muscle mass. The more muscle you have equates to faster caloric burning. Therefore to not train legs is foolish, better to train them hard to increase muscle mass, if you show them or not. The quads are the largest muscle group in the body
Hope this helps

Since you think and train like a bodybuilder, why not just compete as one in your wt class?

Honestly i have never gound big upper legs appealing, never wanted them and training them sucks.I trained legs hard for many years and ended up with a fucked lower back, hip and knees fuck big thighs, big calves are cool but having to walk funny cause of legs just looks stupid. If i was to ever compete which i wouldnt it would be physique.

I like bodybuilding and am only interested in seeing bodybuilders in a bodybuilding contest.
Legends like Arnold and Zane didn't have gigantic quads and were some of the greats in BB.
You put the best physique as possible on stage and flex .
Pretty simple for this old douchebag.

I assume most do.

I'm 5'11" and 175lbs in physique shape. In bb shape I'd be 165lbs lol. That coupled with a shitty structure and long muscle makes me look lanky as hell. I tried bb 3yrs ago and came last place even though I was the only one on stage who didn't sweat while posing. And as much as I love training legs they've never been able to grow (high insertion points on the quads don't help my case either). Got good calves though! Haha. I'll stick with physique until a miracle happens and Im able to look like I even lift.

thats a great photo, thats far better than the board shorts, short enough to display great legs and at the same time no thongs.
thats pretty much as good as it gets isnt it?
