I've just seen this. Wtf? 3 years, no trial, all for an accusation of stealing a backpack?

I've not seen anything about this in the media over here but things like Michael Brown, Baltimore etc get covered. Has this gone under the radar in U.S media too?

An absolute clear 6th Amendment violation. His family should sue NYPD into receivership in federal court. The trial would take 10 minutes.
