More expensive can mean more exclusive, better quality, better performance.
You pay more for extras, right?
Not everybody wants or will drive A model, to be like A owner. Some will pay more to stand out from A so therefore B, C, D are offered.

Good looking car/model, but highly impractical XXL alloys: they ruin the ride, and are very easily damaged if you come to close to a curb, or potholes. And are very costly, never mind tires in that size.
