Guess I will have to buy a PS4
-
Looks badass. Love Star Wars games.
-
typical scripted trailer from start to finish by EA/Dice, until you get the real version in your hands and realize it s ten times less realistic and fun than in the trailer. They always do it, and people always buy into it. Dumbasses.
Basically a 20 vs 20 plyrs only reskinned battlefield with corridors and railshooting (you cant control the ATs) everywhere.

Actually, it's not a reskinned battlefield.
Sure, the modeling is using the same toolset, but it's not "battlefield".
There are some extremely fun game modes that are not and have never been in battlefield.
The game is actually very fun. I know because I have played it.
If you don't want to buy it, don't. It doesn't matter to me, but to dismiss it is being very short sighted.

yeah because you re certainly impartial working for EA lol

Looks good, maybe it can best the 1997 Nintendo 64 version.
-
when does this come out?
-
Doom was most impressive at E3. Unraveled was also nice.
The Division will be another Watch Dogs...all hype.
COD needs to just stop all together.
Star Wars geeks will buy anything you put in front of them. The snow looked good, but I wasn't overly impressed.
Need For Speed looked good, as anything created at night in the rain will usually do. Nocturnal wet environments. Same as Batman. Pretty impressive city in Batman, but the gameplay looks dull as usual.

I like to play Super Mario Bros 3 on my cellphone.

I never bullshit a game.
If we put out something that's shit I say so.
No bias what so ever. I don't lie.

Different account. I just started over.

Batman looked great. Unravel will be loads of fun.
There is a PSN title that you should check out called Galak-Z that my buds over at 17-bit are working on.
Should be out around August he said.
The new Star Fox looks to be a sweet game.
Street Fighter V played awesome.
There's another PSN title I can't remember the name of that looked like a 2v2 PVP MOBA style. I want it.
E3 this year was a lot smaller but I think the Indie developers shined big time.
-
Tu Holmes...what do you do for EA?
Galak Z looked good for that type of game. I thought Resogun was quite strong.
Trackmania turbo looked good.
Oh, don't forget Tony Hawk 5. The graphics look horrid. Another remake. Another disaster from the series. I thought the board peripheral would kill it, but Hawk just won't go away. I'm surprise there is no Skate in the works. Would have liked to see a next gen SSX...put in a word for me.
-
Looks cool.
-
I played Battlefront 2 till the online servers closed 10 years later! Looking forward to Battlefront 3 8)

A game development studio doesn't function like every other business. I mean, for me, being in a tech field, I do stuff with building the levels, source control, as well as studio IT infrastructure functions, some software development, lots of things.
While we have artists, level designers, engineers of the game engine, stuff like that, most tech people wear a ton of hats.
-
At least it runs on PS4 and not a PC with a NVIDIA 980 Ti Quad SLI - lying about graphics like 100% of companies out there do at E3.
Would love to play around with Frostbite 3. TuHolmes, hook me up!

Hmm. So are you a level designer?

No. Not personally.

All of the footage from the trailer was directly recorded from PS4, in game.
100%

Yea though I'll still pirate it. If the BF4 launch were anything to go by there's at least a year of patching (post launch) ahead before everything works as it should. Are they using Mantle or DX?
Hopefully there's single player.

The problem with the BF4 launch is well documented and was fixed by the time Hardline was released last year.
The Frostbite guys always prefer AMD, so I think that answers your question. ;)

I heard Hardline was kinda shit though.
Any decent games coming out of EA soon?

Hardline really wasn't complete shit to be honest.
It played faster, so it was more CoD style than Battlefield, which some people just didn't get onboard with. You had to want to do cops and robbers, which some people just weren't into.
To be fair, the single player was pretty good.
Unravel is going to be hella fun, and I will definitely be getting Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.
-
I am a sucker for anything Star Wars.
Never played The Old Republic, but was a huge fan of Knight of the Old Republic.
-
We need a new game out desperately. The last few games I have bought :
Destiny - so much potential, but a spoon depth of a story line and after you finish the game, nothing left to do but grind levels and raids. Is it too much to ask for a game that places the enemy AI in random spots each time you get to that point? L4D1&2 does this. But in most games you know the exact pixel the enemy will be standing on every single time after you have played it a couple of times.
Dying Light - a complete total rip off of Dead Island. Same game, different graphics. The added parkour system and night mode was a nice touch. Sad part was I had only leveled up my three skill trees about 25% each when I found the best weapon in the game. A katana that I slapped the three highest mods on and it could basically cut through time and hyperspace.
Borderlands Pre Sequel - It's just Meh!
Currently I am playing Zombie Army Trilogy. Which is a bit too repeating at times, but damn..... the graphics are awesome. Really does feel like you are in a bombed out zombie infested Germany.
-
Dying Light done the old graphic rip off. Turn it up for E3 and gives you watered down cack on release. I'm always of the opinion; you lie to me once, you can do it again. Still bought it as I like supporting independent game studios.
No console so not played Destiny. Might grab the PS4 at some point.
I've played and finish Witcher 3 recently. Pretty damn good.
Hard a whirl at BF3 single player recently and I can still break the game if I want, 4 years after release - which kinda says it all.

You have to like MMOs.
I'm debating returning to that world because I have given up on WoW and Wildstar.

No one is fixing single player.
There is no need. Why would you actively try to break your own game?
They only fix Multiplayer.
