I've been looking for a long lasting durable comfy shoe, and I picked these out as meeting all the criteria, I know NB is known as an old person shoe but I think these are okay. Do my fellow getbig gets approve?
Also would girls ever notice or care?

I love New Balance. Only sneaker I wear (or addidas). I mean, what other options are there? Nike? Reebok?
Id rather wear NB than Nike.

New Balances are fine, and have a good rep. That being said, I'd have gone with a old school grey pair or navy.

NB is a comfortable shoe ( great for orthotics) yet very warm, even with a thin sock. THE BEEF use to import sneakers for years as a supplementary income and knows the business. THE BEEF was always buying high end and wasting money, now THE BEEF buys the parental shoe unbranded for a fraction of the cost.

But boots are great for leg day. I've seen pics of Nasser in the gym sporting boots with other gym attire I'm sure you'd be very fond of.

I hope you're joking. I think half the kids in the learning disabilities classes at my high school wore those. No way in hell are those 'ok' at any age unless you absolutely do not care, which I half assume is the case, whether you know it or not. If so, that's cool, I guess.

I wear sneakers to run and mow the lawn. Maybe to buy groceries and beer. Every where else it's quality shoes. It just looks clownish to wear multi colored basketball sneakers and jeans.
I run in these. About $140 bucks and made in the USA. A great running shoe for guys over 180lbs. Many running shoes are made for light weight runners.

there is a name for those kind of shoes, especially worn with jeans.
"junners". they are the 201X's equivalent of the full leisure suits (track suits) worn by retirees in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
white tennis shoes, or light colored running shoes, with jeans, is a fashion FOPAR.

Women have fallen sucker to stylish shoes, which rarely fit their feet. As a result, they have more foot problems than men do. Go to any podiatrist and what do you see in the waiting room? Mostly women.

Good to know. What about folks like me who have exceptionally high arches as opposed to flat feet? Do Nike's fit this type of foot too. The only time I wear athletic shoes is when I go to the gym. Otherwise casual shoes for me are sandals and Birkenstock's....summer and winter.

Idk, but, if you just used them for the gym, I would recommend going to a new balance store and seeing a Fit Specialists. They can tell you exactly what shoes to buy, for free.
My feet used to hurt when I ran. So I got some ugly ass shoes from the new balance store, after that, no problem. I only wore them for cardio, because they were so fucking ugly.
Now, I just wear custom insoles in kobes, on cardio days.
