Post by: oldschoolfan on June 27, 2015, 05:02:44 PM
Ha guys i was cleaning out  my garage  and came across some old flex magazines i had put away years ago.

back in the 90's i was just a young teenager trying to build up my puny muscles and i faithfully spent my hard earned minimum wage i earned buying flex magazine and

muscle and fitness   " i wanted to learn the secrets of the pros  ::)

bear in mind i wasnt a get bigger back then , banging model hoes and earning a minimum of 8 figures per year !

my god i never realize how much those magazines   catered to the schmoes ,   ha ha even worst i thought that was how those big huge muscle men dressed !

remember those classic photo shoots with the massive amount of inhuman weights they would lift,  and wearing there cut off daisy duke jean shorts, and the shit kicker boots

and the sunglasses bwa ha ha , good  and funny times.

I liked the training articles and the pictures of buff chicks, but damn if I didn't feel like a complete homo buying those mags. I felt like I should be wearing a trench code and a fedora pulled low.

And when my mom found my stash in my room, her face said that she really would have preferred to find a pile of Penthouse. "Really mom, I like girls!"

I actually have every flex and muscle fitness from 1990 to 1996.  They are in my parents house (in guest rm closet).  The mags were super thin back then.

Ok head unicorn..... ::). I have fond memories of buying the mags back in the 90's, and as rich stated it had a similar shame akin to buying porn, but I had to learn the secrets to 21" guns

1st one I purchased was a Brit mag called bodypower, had renel janviar on the cover doing seated curls, amazing set of arms on him, like thick veiny cocks... ( no homo )

I remember my first 1 from 2002-ish as a teenager. It had HHH on the cover ( part of the appeal as i was a wrestling fan then ). I think i still have it somewhere. Good times before the internet in my household lol

Ok, so you felt like a complete homo when buying it, but not when you were  stroking it ,  looking at the pics?   Odd... ???

I always had the attitude that this was me now, and I accept it.

Ok, on a serious note, I subscribed to FLEX for many years and loved getting it in the mail.
I dropped the subscription finally,  last year.
