"APC Nationals today. Set the bar a little higher for the all time @ 132 full power bench press record. 424.5"... Eric Head.
Congrats pride of North Georgia
-
CRAZY strong, but must be on the gas, no way natural
-
Eric Head made his way to the APC nationals in Athens, GA at 132 pounds in an attempt to break his own World record bench! He started his day making only a 418 squat but then came away with a monster 424 bench at 132! He duplicated that number on the deadlift and finished with a 1,267 pound total!

His goal is 1500.....I think he has a great chance! Great guy too!!!

Apparently this is him benching 501 @ 132

with a single shirt......the 424.5 is raw

Ah I see that now. Still impressive as hell!
-
more than 3 times his BW, raw. Impressive indeed!
-
skinny arms
-
About 9" range of motion
-
may not be a bb'er rep, but I still find that incredible.
-
That excessive bending of the back with powerlifters is ridiculous. What a way to shorten the range of motion to move more weight
-
He does have a big ass head ;D
Yes guy looks like a giant dwarf
-
Thats one strong sob
-
he'll squat 500+ by this time next year.....
put him close to the 1500 lb meet goal

This.
Whenever I see that nonsense, I roll my eyes. Either bench properly or go on a decline bench. Thats like doing barbell curls with a full swing + hip thrust to throw that weight up there and calling it a a record.
Keep your damn back flat on the bench. >:(
-
Flat back on the bench is no good .....
-
Flat back on the bench is no good .....
slight arch whatever.. most of the back stays on the bench not the shoulders.. thats ridiculous.

Congrats pride of North Georgia
Steroid lifts mean nothing.....Stop the drugs and lets see how strong he REALLY is....lol....I thought so.....
-
I am with you on the steroid lifters .... BUT , if everybody competed juice free most of the record holders would be the same guys in my opinion because they have the desire, genetics, and will to do what it takes to be the best
The numbers would be a lot less though
-
bunch of bitches on here hating.....lol
-
Nobody hating bro, just stating facts
Everybody agrees he's a strong mofo, still cheater though- not real numbers w/ out the drugs
-
Someone said it before the crazy arch with practically only his shoulders on the bench shortens the range of motion tremendously. His arms are barely bent doing the bench. Ever notice how good fat barrel chested guys are at benching yet they can't do 50 perfect full range pushups? It' because they are pushing the bar 10 inches off their arched bellies.
Just tired of the bs going on with power lifting. You want to impress me? Put a barbell on the ground and lift it over head. No tricks or delusional deception will help you. Most 400lbs bench press guys couldn't lift 400lbs over their head from the floor if they trained for it for 20 years because they don't have the power.
-
bunch of bitches on here hating.....lol
Sadly, yes you are correct most are.
I don't like the excessive arching or use of bench shirts.
But 500lbs at any bodyweight is a lot to move with your arms/ chest
Let alone at 132lbs bodyweight. :o

Ask him if he considers himself a poser because of his drug use.....Ask him what he benches without steroids and with his back on the bench.....Doug Young in College benched 360 drug free at 210 bodyweight, and later became World champ benching mid 600's with drugs...How is these guys not phonies/pretenders?

Doug young.
That man benched in a T shirt & Flat back on the bench.
Was it 600lbs Bench Press at 275lbs bodyweight.
Clearly we have very different opinions on Him Being
A Phony / Pretender.
-
Very impressive, the arched back nonsense being spouted here is really reaching. This guy at all but 132lbs pressed 424 in competition. How many here would fail with that weight while weighing 100+lbs more?
-
I have a suspicion that many tiny tits on getbig look like complete shit and make themselves feel better by saying that everybody that looks better than them are on TEH STERONZ, and they too could look like that if they were weak and took THE DRUGZ.
-
Still impressive nonetheless, not hating on the guy
At my gym at destination Dallas there's this guy named hanh that trains and never competes, just does it for the fun of it. Good everyday physique, built like a bber, lean and weighs 190. Benches 455, deadlifts 633, and squats 500+. All his lifts are still going up and all are done raw. Trains with Josh Bryant

He's only strong as long as he continues to inject drugs in his butt every week...he's a poser....
