on the american flag on the moon?
discuss with me babies
a flaming trolling encouraged thread im ready for it!
-
The flag on the moon is 125cm (4 feet) long. You would require a telescope around 200 meters in diameter to see it. The largest telescope now is the Keck Telescope in Hawaii at 10 meters in diameter.
There you go.
-
Zoom in on Phil Heath from the side and you won't see him with a 200m telescope....

heard that shit already
but apparantly we can see a planet 40 or more light years away
what kinda horeshit you sniffin falconite?
-
Even the largest telescope will not spot Phil Heath from the side.....
-
Do a little more research on how planets are discovered

Not in any detail. A planet is a little larger than a little pole.
-
most telescopic work is done in radio frequencies also.
another reason is that its not necessary to show things like this when you know they are there.
if NASA really were concerned about trying to keep up a lie of being on the moon, then you'd think that they'd be posting pics of the flag and so on...
but they dont. if it was a conspiracy, then you'd think that they'd really be providing this.
so why dont they do it?
the answer is : they know its there, they put it there, they have video and all the proof already... if u still dont believe it, they arent going to spend a cent on trying to convince you, because you really arent anybody.
theyve got better things to spend their dollars on.

looking at them is still the best way!

lol. you think we see images via a lens?.. the only horseshit is your knowledge.

looking at the "data" is a fantastic way, cute
we still cant see the flag on the moon!!!
did we go there?
are our telescopes not good enough?

We can't see it because the earth is flat and we're on the wrong side.
-
flag nor fail
-
yay this is a cute thread i can flame people and they flame back at the end of the day we still must trust the "experts" even though they cant make a telescope good enough for the moon even though they can sattelight image us on earth. or is it really sattelight image and not simply just those drive through cameras they use when search yahoo maps driving directions
fucks yues fuck all flame on get pissed on!

You do realise those satellites are about 50 miles up? The moon isn't 50 miles away.
-
maybe the moon wants a bit of privacy
-
If the Earth is flat then why is the moon round?

It's a disc.

we can see 50 light years aways thats 50,000,000,000,000 miles atleast but we cant see the flag on the moon neega boy!
-
I've always wondered why, if the Hubble telescope is that powerful, why they haven't proved once & for all that we've been to the moon. Thats because we've never been.
-

Neega boy? Hahaha. And you can't even see the colour of my skin. So forgive everyone else for not seeing a flag.
You should jot down your thoughts. Compile them for a few years. Get yourself an agent and release a book. 'Memoirs of a Falcon'.
-

FUCKING NICE NON AMERICAN NON FLAG ON THE MOON THERE STUD ?

I wasn't making fun with the journal comment. Even if you just did it for yourself it may help you.

"yes, the flag is still on the moon, but you can't see it using a telescope. I found some statistics on the size of lunar equipment in a Press Kit for the Apollo 16 mission. The flag is 125 cm (4 feet) long, and you would need an optical wavelength telescope around 200 meters (~650 feet) in diameter to see it. The largest optical wavelength telescope that we have now is the Keck Telescope in Hawaii which is 10 meters in diameter. The Hubble Space Telescope is only 2.4 meters in diameter - much too small!"
-
You can see the flag from the LRO though.
-
no, the flag cant be seen because it was stolen by aliens hiding inside the moon bla bla bla

you should see all of my note pads with electrical facts, , my electrical notes fascinate me i need to organize them, i struggle to get the energy balancing with work, work comes first
-
Falcon U should see Swiss Sy-Fy film "Cargo" 2009 , very much ac/dc ;)

There are different types of telescopes. Not all have lens. Some use radio waves. You mentioned showing pics of other planets and galaxies, etc. Take a read of the Hubble Telescope.
Also, scientists are looking at different things. Who wants to look for a flag on the moon? What scientific purpose does that serve?

the purpose would be to for a minute ease the mind of those conspiracy morons that think the moonlanding didt happen or its just a big cheese etc etc
thats what drives them. everything is false, a conspiracy etc so they spend all their waking hours trying to find proof... AHA! you cant see the flag? well duh! the aliens took it!!
we're talking single digits IQ here

LOL!
Or does not want to sign release form, is focused on long term negociating. I mean where the hell it going? It's the moon...

yes

No we cannot see planets around other stars. We can detect them from the change in brightness when they pass in front of their star, or the wobble of the star as its planets revolve around them, as well as the effect the gravity lens formed by the star and its planets has on the stars behind them. But we have never imaged an exoplanet.
