Maybe of interest to some. Basically a free form interview with Ed, as he reminisces about both his history, and the history of powerlifting. Also has a bit on training here, and there. Works well as an audio cast too, so you can leave it on in the back ground as you do other things -
.

thanks will check it out

Great - Ed rocks!

Mark Bell has one of the shitiest genetic ever.
Ton's of drugs for years, he's not strong, and he's not ripped.

Good watch.

Doing a seminar with him in Oct. Got to credit guys like Bell for getting Coan more visibility
-
Good video -
Could have done with having a mic on all of them instead of just Bell...volume levels are all over the place.

Didn't he bench like 210kgs there for a few reps? Thats fairly strong.
He is a powerlifter so I wouldn't expect him to look like a bodybuilder (he is fairly lean in that video though)

its get big logic. if you're not the strongest powerlifter in the entire world......you're not strong.
if you're not 280 lbs with 3% bodyfat.....you're not ripped.
that's just something people type on their keyboard so they feel better about their own 400 lb squat and their 25% bodyfat.
oh yeah. and if you're take any amount of chemical assistance. you're on tons of drugs.

thats a pretty awesome interview.
he seems like a really cool guy.
i wish there more videos like that, like for example someone training with arnold and he chats between sets.

there's also 1+ hour q&a

He was a great geared lifter, particularly in the bench press. Since he retired from competitive powerlifting he has dropped a lot of weight and benched over 550 pounds raw.
But he is not strong you say? ::)

Ed Coan is the greatest powerlifter of all time and seems to be a very nice guy to boot.
