Exactly how many injuries and surgeries did he have over the course of his career?
Seems to me he's had way too many already
I've read somewhere all his cartilage was gone in hips n knees, back hernia several times and of course the other atrophy-related injuries
But how is this possible given the exuberant amount of GH and other stimulants he's been taking?
I though gh was supposed to increase your collagen production and synthesis.
Why did all this wear n tear not get sufficient protection from gh/AAS, which supposedly prevents one's connective tissue from atrophy and catabolism
Would he have gotten these problems if he had used correct posture in exercises? (even though heavy)

I shook hands with Ronnie in 2011.
39 weeks later, I gave birth to triplets. That man is anabolic!

You reap what you sew and in Coleman's case its manifested itself in injuries, a bunch of daughters from different women and being retarded.
Not necessarily in that order.

The guy lifted like a cave man. He got great results from it, but did you honestly watch his videos and think he wouldn't have a wrecked body at 50?

Restorative power of any drug < The wear and tear of the sport.
The end.
None of these things are magic, any high level strength athlete that's been at it 20, 30, 40 years is going to have some breakage. It's inevitable.

So what you're saying is dont lift heavy cuz u'll end up paying for it either way
You cant lift heavy with correct form and get off free of injury, right?
If that's the case guys like phil heath ernie taylor n melvin should be applauded for lifting wisely

Haney for the win
claims to have no injuries and had the "stimulate don't annihilate" policy

GH and steroids can rebuild and strengthen muscle and connective tissue. At the same
time they may make that very same connective tissue more vulnerable to a tear. Some
of the nerve impingment problems of say Coleman may have been due to GH too. I think
some MD wrote about that a while ago in MD mag.
Someone I know had nerve impingent and had neck surgery as a result. She asked me if it was safe to go back on GH during the recovery process to help heal faster. I said I really don't have any idea and didn't dare to recommend anything, there might be some undesirable swelling causing nerve problems, to ask the doc. She asked the doc and the doc said the same thing, they wouldn't recommend it in case of some swelling.
Like BB said, there's going to be wear and tear. Doesn't matter if you train "correctly" or "light" either. For example, most lifters have had shoulder problems to different degrees.

No. Correct form is only correct inside bodybuilding. There are a lot of exercises that stress your physical health.
I know a dude who is always on some sort of medication, either deca, tren, gh, test... and got cervical bursted disks. He doesn't lift heavy, is more into getting a good pump.

Megadosing gh to the point you're mimicking acromegaly is not going to help your joints like 3ius of Sero a day

That aside, Ronnie trained like a retard and is still training like a retard so it's no wonder he destroyed his body.

He was taking cholesterol meds for years..these statins are weakening muscle fibers..and this leads to rupters with heavy workouts
