I don't give a flyin fuck what anyone says or thinks, but MP in an absolute badass. Was UNBELIEVABLY dominant during his years as a Strongman. Wasn't nearly as tall ( or  " fat " for that matter lol ) as the rest of the Strongman lineup, but that didn't stop him one bit. And the celebration he did after each event won was awesome.

Ton of respect for MP.

pudz diet  :D

Pudzianowski is liberal with his diet and is often seen eating chocolate, ice cream or burgers.[33][34] On one of the World Stongman events shown on TV, and an interview for MTV, when asked about his diet he said: "I eat everything. I do not follow any particular diet. I eat anything I want, anytime I want".[35]

My energy comes from my diet. Breakfast is 10 eggs and two to three pounds of bacon. Between meals, I eat lots of candy. In the morning, it will be several 3 Musketeers and/or Snickers bars; I need them for energy. Lunch, at 1 or 2 PM, is a double meal of a Polish pork chop, sauerkraut and potatoes. An hour later, I work out, then take lots of supplements: magnesium, creatine, amino acids, all that stuff, and more chocolate. Dinner is whatever meat I can grab—steaks, pork chops, bacon—plus more sauerkraut and potatoes. At 9 or 10 PM, I work out again. Afterward, I have a protein shake and more chocolate. At 3 or 4 AM, I wake up and have more chocolate, then go back to sleep until morning.  ;D ;D ;D

Some of those stats are questionable. I doubt the bench and squat numbers are accurate.

Five wins in WSM puts him in a class all by himself.  Functional strength such has his wins out every time over the more fictional strength of such as Phildo.

You can always subtract 5-10 %, then the stats would be more accurate. People lie/cheat alle the time, but only by just a little bit. ;)

Looks like your average Japanese worked fight.  Blow didn't even knock him out, just knocked him off balance and then the ref stopped it.  They are obviously trying to create some type of highlight reel for Mariusz (as he does have some serious marketing potential).  But Mariusz simply can't fight very well, he will never amount to anything in MMA.

Maybe you should be more impressed by Great Mariusz's defeat of a real fighter:

He did well because they added a lot of endurance type events.  The big fat strongmen suffered.  He was still strong as fuck though.

I read a story about him on wikipedia, I think.  Something about retrieving a gold chain back from a local crime boss, who had stolen it from a 'weaker citizen'. :D

Sounded like something out of an old Japanese arcade game.

Awesome dude.

Would be interesting if Mariusz had to fight someone from getbig - I think he would cut through the posters like a hot knife through butter...up until the "street smart" Darren.

He is a Legend.

Those lifts do seem a bit high, i don't think he benched that much.

These dudes are deceptively strong.  I knew this Icelandic guy.  I was bigger and more muscular than him but his strength was far greater than mine.  Looking at him you wouldn't think it but he was a beast.  he'd get these large Nails and bend them in half with one hand.  Claims his strength came from drinking a gallon of whole milk a day.

That could be a perfect warm up for the real onslaught following.
Problem is Mariusz would probably get so furious at all the world class posters that his erratic meltdown later in the ring could spell doom for his career.
