After I trained legs today, it got me thinking...
Even the hardest, most demanding set of leg presses feels like sitting in a recliner, eating cheesecake while getting a blowjob at the same time.
Squats... there is no substitute.

True. If I leg press I would prefer it to be on an old fashioned inverted model. Flat on my back and pressing up instead of the recliner models (great descripton!) used today. But for me, squats are the best exercise period.

I don't think it's a question of "either/or"
Just do both. Does it have to be so complicated???

I think that Back Squats combined with Front Squats will trump any leg press combo that you can do.

Leg presses don't tax the lungs like squats do. 15 reps of heavy leg presses, I can still hop off the machine and get a drink of water. 15 reps of heavy squats, I have to sit down and rest.

Gene if you put your feet towards the front of the platform its def more hams and vice versa, towards the back more quads

2 inches to my legs in 5 weeks thanks to the leg press (and ive been able to finish 2 books while doing it)

for size? rubbish, eventually you get to the point where your lungs fail way before your legs do on squats.
