Is there anything wrong with 16 being the age of consent?

The guy survived. But neither his brain nor his palate did obviously.

Everyone has a vice, his is pizza. I eat clean all week, workout and get good sleep. Come the weekend I smash 10 pints of ale and eat shit food for 24 hours.

This is an excuse to eat like a pig. It's bullshit.  But that's none of my business.

Back when I was in elementary school we had some sort of a guest lecture on nutrition and they told us that pizza was a healthy, well rounded breakfast.

Maybe he had that lecture too.

Yup.

It's like when you grab a shish lamb kebab at lunch, and all the fattys smell it (from a couple of miles away) and drop bombs of truth like "How can you eat that for lunch, it's soooooo fattening!!!"

Don't worry your chins about it sweetheart, I am eating about 8 cubes of grilled lean meat, with a side salad and a spoonful of mayonnaise. I'm sure that your £3.50 meal deal from boots, which includes a 500kcal sandwich, a 250kcal bottle of soda, and a 250kcal 'granola bar' will help 'tone you up' in no time!

My Mrs makes beautiful pizza.

When you look at the ingredients separately, there are thousands of 'healthy' dishes made from the same.

Fresh pizza dough
Passata
Olives
Olive oil
Goats cheese (or greek feta works)
Red onion
Spinach & rocket
Balsamic vinegar

Just don't eat 2000 kcals of it at once. Or do eat 2000kcals at once and move more the next day.

Fixed.

Why not haha.

If you want to spend less that $100 on a bottle though, I would recommend a nice Pouilly Fume 2008. Very nice with the goats cheese and only $25 a bottle  ;D

Try this if you can get your hands on it. Much cheaper than Dagueneau's Pouilly's. Around the budget you mentioned.

Nope, it's not, it's all about how your system is programmed, somebody with metabollic syndrome would tend to store fat not burn it. A calorie is not a calorie! Never was and never will be ;)

Context is everything with the 'calorie is a calorie' statement.

I've seen intelligent men battling it out for 20 pages, laying out their arguments for why it 'is' or 'isn't', without realising they are both talking about very different things.

The diversity in human bodies, digestive systems, endocrine systems and so on, is so great that the same meal might have a different outcome - even if we are just talking about calories in the context of energy.

However, even in that context, no matter how diverse the individuals are, strictly speaking 'a calorie will always be what it is' regardless.

Now, when folks start arguing the above two statements as if they were opposing points of view, that's when it gets ridiculous.

I am yet to taste a butthole, but my wife has mentioned a few 'things' lately. If my gillette pro sensor excel goes missing, i'll skip dessert and wait upstairs.
