Mayweather blew $2.5M on the F1 and $7M on 3 Bugattis. Look for him to make another stupid auto purchase with the $120M he earned from the Manny fight.

I would be too scared to drive that thing, or park it at a public parking lot, or to even touch it or sit in there.... I'd put it in a bulletproof glass vitrine in the living room at most :-\

Eventually, you will start seeing these appreciate in value. Whereas now the Bugatti Veyron is depreciating in value.

They will appreciate as well. Ferrari's tend to have a higher appreciation than say a Lambo because of Ferrari's racing history and the "mystique" of Ferrari. If I were to hazard a guess, the LaFerrari will have a higher percentage of appreciation than the 918 and P1 for this same reason. Even though Porsche and Mclaren have racing pedigrees. There is a saying, "Ferrari is Formula 1". I believe that they are are the oldest, or most long standing manufacturer in Formula One. And that prestige trickles down to its road cars---series and special models.

The last decent looking Ferrari made was the F355.

Now that was a stunner. Timeless. It is what brought the V8 Ferraris back on the map after the disappointing 348.

And it's ironic because Enzo didn't give a shit about the road cars , he only saw them as a means to an end to fund the racing team. Ferrari has a strong customer base but they're not the only option anymore. But they have a leg-up on their competition but they're closing in on them. Mclaren originally wanted to sell 300 F-1s but there was no demand so they sold just 100. But I think they're really coming on strong now the P-1 is a rounding success and it's a definite contender to the LaFerrari with the 918 trailing behind.
