Title: Good 4 day routine?
Post by: Al Doggity on July 27, 2015, 05:49:55 PM
Missed my Monday workout...  :'(

Usually do a 5 day routine- push,pull,legs,push,pull
I don't want to add a weekend workout because it will sabotage my precious recovery time.

I am stressing out trying to figure out how to salvage the week without adding a weekend workout.
(I am currently considering skipping tomorrow and starting back up weds to stay on sked.)

Advise me, Getbig.  How can I get myself out of this tragic mess?  What is a good full-body, 4 day routine?

You could buy a bullet and rent a gun.

 ??? That's only two days, not 4.

It doesn't matter. You will look like shit no matter your routine is, or days on or days off.

HTH.

Last year I wrote a 4 day template designed specifically for bodybuilding that we do with our online clients. Haven't had a complaint yet.

Arms
Shoulders and Traps
Chest and back (alternate one set of back followed by one set of chest without any rest)

It's really going to be OK. Are you seriously that concerned over one workout? Shit I miss all the time and hasn't hurt a bit. Lol. Hell I take weeks off even months and within a few weeks back after months and months off right back where is was. MM is very powerful

No, I'm not seriously that concerned over one workout. I thought the first post was OTT enough to get it, but I guess not (even though I wasn't expecting any serious replies at all.)  I missed a workout and was trying to put together a good 4-day routine that wouldn't break my schedule for next week. Will prob just skip tomorrow and pick up my schedule mid-week.  I actually would have been interested to hear some thoughts, as I enjoy hearing others' opinions on training, but it seems to be taboo to bring up fitness related topics on this board.

What is this bodybuilding.Com or something? Do you want help with your creatine timing as well? Are you gonna post pics of yourself after a summer of working out as a junior in high school, gaining a monstrous 15lbs going from 145 to 160??

Fuck off.

I know. 5 is cutting it close. I should theoretically add on a second leg day, but my legs already overpower my torso.

I have several full body (4 day programs) programs as well but it's geared more towards athletes.

I'd just enjoy the extra rest day.  5 days is rough as you gotta go 3 days in a row at some point. Just burns me out.

When I know I won' the able to hit the gym the week-end, I generally do this:

-Monday: Pec/Biceps
-Tuesday: Legs
-Wednesday: Shoulders
-Thursday: Rest
-Friday: Back/Triceps

Then 2 days of rest.

Isn't that bad.
