The lady and I are going to New Orleans for the weekend. We plan on arriving after midday on Friday and going to see My Morning Jacket that evening. We will be free to do whatever we want all day Saturday.
I was wondering if any of you GetBiggers have any recommendations/experiences on restaurants?
*Bodybuilding related because I am in contest prep and this trip is going to be a living hell*

Try CAFE LAFITTE. Any GetBigger would love the entrees there I'm sure. Never been myself.

French Quarters*
St Charles Ave (near Canal St)*
Warehouse District
West Bank
Just ask around. All establishments in the "*" areas are 4 to 5-star.
Bourbon Street is tourist dog shit, but you should feel at home.

Cafe Du Monde is a sweatshop worth skipping. If you wait in line to eat there you will be disappointed with the use of your valuable time.

Specialize in Coffee and Beignets (Ops, that's Cafe du Monde). .
Copelands if you are looking for generic food.

I have eaten at Copeland's, but not in NO. Love that place. Especially the cheesecake.
