He will just use the same excuse that cutler did--they are for his dog.
-
To be fair, if he has young kids it could be for aceteminophen/ibuprofen liquid ::)

For 7 years, I took care of a diabetic cat. He needed twice daily shots of Humalin R. I had vials and slin pins coming out of my ass. Never did put 2+2 together, but it did provide me with a certain pre-programmed facility with needles.
I loved that damn cat.
-
too ironic for him not to have done that on purpose.
key to success - syringe not so discreetly placed behind the plate to be seen.
Frank's a funny guy, must have got a few days worth of laughs at the responses.

I thought that as well for a second. Definitely seems, from past posts, to have a very healthy sense of humor.

He ate a prescription diet of Hills W/D, which is a high-fiber food designed to keep his blood sugar level. He was my landlord's cat that started living in my apartment. When he wasn't looking so hot, I took him to the vet and they diagnosed him. My landlord was going to have him put down and I couldn't have that. So *poof*, I got a cat with a "condition"
It really wasn't as bad as it seems, but for years after he passed (at 14 of a liver ailment), I still felt this subconscious need to be home at 7am and 7pm. My current cat is a PITA, but for now doesn't require medication. I am ready if need be.

Right on. Got lives 2-9 with someone who'd make an effort for him.

Just gained a ton of respect for ya, A.J. You didn't have to do that. But ya dId. And saved a cat's life in the process. I personally find less things more noble than that, then what you did.
You'll get NO SHIT from me, from here on out, here at GetBig. And if I ever meet you in person, the first drink will be on me.

Thanks! I do have a thing for animals, my trolling in the lion thread notwithstanding. My vet at the time was so impressed with my connection to the cat's condition that he told his associates that I was given carte Blanche on how treat him and he even consulted me on other diabetic cats.
I wrote a short article on how to use a litterbox as a guide for treating diabetic cats.

That's pretty cool, man. :) I, too, have a thing for animals. Most of them, anyways lol.

Im surprised you didn't throw the cat in the backyard and try to hunt it. Then, when someone would have called you out, your NRA buddies would have said something like, "Ugh, what's the big deal? Its a wild animal. Humans have been hunting since the beginning of mankind. Whats the problem with shooting a cat with a 12 gauge."
NRA members have a warped sense of thinking :-/

Over the course of his life, he mostly went between 1-4iu every 12 hours with 2iu being the most common. That was his "maintenance dose". As anybody that's ever cared for a diabetic cat knows, their level of diabetes can swing horribly from day to day while you are trying to get them dialed in. Over the course of his life, he was spontaneously "cured" 2 or 3 times, but slipped back after a few weeks. His little pancreas kept me guessing, that's for sure.
If only i'd been as into BB as I am now, LOL.
Here's a picture of him that has to go back to 2001(note the shitty, 80 pound CRT monitor)

2007 (his memorial stone is here in my office). He's buried in the backyard of my old Florida house.

What a beautiful cat!
Likely part Norwegian Forest Cat. A "domestic long hair" which means he got shaved instead of shedding. Sorta like a Maine C-o-o-n (it's a real fucking thing).
My current cat is a DLH too and needs to be shorn twice a year also.

There are no threads on Getbig that don't get derailed. I am just thrilled that this hasn't yet turned into another Pellius/The Beef/Chaos deathmatch.
