Limited streaming content.   Go with Hulu or get yourself one of the little Android boxes like I did.  Best $55 I ever spent.

Netflix has made us all a bunch of lazy fucks willing to watch shit movies because the price is cheap. I keep saying I'm gonna cancel it but then think of having to go look for movies bugs me, it's more the "having to bring them back" that annoys me the most.

Daredevil and three seasons of House of Cards are worth the $10 or so to watch before you cancel.

Had it twice.  They claim they don't throttle the speed at which you get movies.  But I would order a DVD, watch it and send it back and wait for another.  Used to be 2 days, then it would take 4 days, then eventually 1 movie a week.  I complained to them about why they are being slower about it and they claim they don't have a policy to limit the speed at which movies get to you but obviously they do.  If I watch a movie and send it back right away it took 3-7 days to get a new one. If I held on to the movie for a week and sent it back it took 1-2 days to get a new one.

I ended up cancelling.

I got netflix about 3 months ago and its great.ive watched around 100 movies and most i never heard of and had bad ratings but id say 80+ were great movies. Also i watched breaking bad and sons of anarchy which were awesome.Im a big fan of criminal minds and dexter so i always watch a few of those a week.I pay 11.99 for service on 4 tvs and i like it better than my 190.00 berizon cable bill.

The Fall is a decent show. Takes place in your neck of the woods. If you're into old war movies and documentaries it is good. I have two kids under three, so the cartoons for them on Saturday and in some nights are worth it when it's raining.

Go to the website instantwatcher.com.  It lists things by categories Mitch better than Netflix itself.  You can search it for anything Netflix instant and it shows what is new that day.

Probably because it sucks. I recently replaced all my apple tvs with Rokus. Been much happier.

Why would anyone use Netflix or any other paying service when you can just download torrents off Rarbg through a VPN?

Or am I missing something?

VPN are not 100% safe tho. IMO, not worth the chance of getting caught.

Short money for the convenience of not having to download torrents.

Turn it on, pick a movie/tv show, and play it.

For $7.99 a month for livestreaming, you cannot beat netflix. There is enough good things to watch to make it worth your while.

This really.

I have free 6 months of Netflix through a company phone plan and threw it straight in the bin. Why even bother at all if you have torrents of news groups. People harp on about House of Cards. That downloaded whilst I had a shit. A quick one too and it was all done and ready to watch. For free. Hell, no need to pay for NGs anymore either. Not like 06-09 where a fiver a month got you everything for 120 retention. Now it's 1000+ days retention and free.

Even torrents are blazing fast nowadays.

Pay? For Netflix? Or any other media?

Like fuck.

You're not even a drop in the ocean. You're a spec of irrelevant dust in a universe. I done 600 gig worth of downloading last month. 90% of it illegal and probably didn't even crack the top 5 million world wide in downloads.

The Punisher  commissioned for  full Netflix TV  series

http://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/marvel-punisher-netflix-tv/

Criminals and delinquents of Hell’s Kitchen, beware: Frank Castle will return. Just over a month after making his small-screen debut on season 2 of Daredevil, Netflix have announced that Marvel’s The Punisher is to get his very own show.

Jon Bernthal, whose performance in Daredevil won praise from both critics and fans, will reprise his role as Frank Castle, the soldier-turned-vigilante who dishes out a violent form of justice on the streets of New York..

Netflix announced the series with a 25-second teaser trailer, posted to their official Twitter feed.

Steve Lightfoot, best known for his work on NBC’s Hannibal (as well as a stint on BBC One’s Saturday night staple Casualty) has been recruited as showrunner, serving as a writer and executive producer.

This will be the sixth Marvel show to arrive on Netflix’s streaming platform, following Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Adaptations of Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders* are currently in development.

There’s no word on whether Frank Castle will show up in The Defenders (essentially the street-level version of The Avengers), but he is almost certain to make a cameo appearance.

Frank Castle has had something of a chequered history on the big screen, to put it generously, with three actors (Dolph Lundgren, Thomas Jane and Ray Stevenson) failing to make much headway.

But his unique brand of anti-heroism – first debuting in a 1974 Marvel comic – has remained popular with fans. We look forward to seeing what Bernthal (and Netflix’s well of money) can do with the character.
