When will it end? :'(

A Texas police officer fatally shot a 19-year-old college football player suspected of driving a car through the window of a Dallas-area car dealership, police and media said on Friday.
Police in Arlington, a city in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, said the officer responded early on Friday to a call about a burglary in progress.
There, Officer Brad Miller, 49, confronted a suspect who was accused of driving a vehicle through the front of a car dealership, police said in a statement.
"There was an altercation during which at least one officer discharged his weapon," it said.
Christian Taylor, 19, a football player at Angelo State University, was killed, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Arlington police did not say if Taylor appeared to be armed before he was killed. Officer Miller was still in training after graduating from the police academy in March, authorities said.
The teen's death comes amid increased scrutiny over the use of force by police, particularly when dealing with black and Latino people, following a string of killings of unarmed men that began with the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri last year.
Taylor was black, media reported.
Arlington police said the shooting was under review.
"The preservation of life and safety is our highest priority. The Arlington Police Department is saddened by this loss of life and will provide the community a clear and transparent investigation," the department said in a statement.
Surveillance video of the incident was captured by the businesses, it added.
Arlington police do not wear body-worn cameras but a pilot program was in the works, the department said.
A growing number of U.S. police departments are attaching cameras to police uniforms, known as body-worn cameras, in addition to cameras placed on the dashboard of police vehicles, to add transparency to interactions with the public.
Advocates say the cameras will give a clear record of how both officers and suspects behave. Opponents say cameras could unfairly portray police tactics and might violate the privacy of victims and witnesses.

The murdering pig was 49 years old .....and just graduated the police academy in March?
Hahahahaha......Good career change, champ. Should have stayed on the overnight shift at Mickey D's. Fucking McAsshole........
Is this the same department that employed the joint-diseased, unprotected fucking machine Ron "English is only a suggestion" Coleman?

Looks like somebody took Ronnie's gun from him. It's missing from his holster.
That pic forshadowed Ronnie's fall from grace in the Arlington TX police dept.

Well, that is quite common behavior of the innocent black dudes as we all know.. isn't it? ;D

Maybe the tie rod broke on his Toyota Camry, causing to veer off the road and into the dealership. It's rumored that he was on his way home from church. :'(

No thread on the Knig that shot and killed the white cop in Shreveport?
Should have never apprehended him "alive".
Piece of shit.

Officers were responding to a burglary call about 1 a.m. Friday in Arlington when they discovered someone had driven a vehicle through a front
window of the Classic Buick GMC, according to a statement from the Arlington Police Department. The statement said police approached the suspect and a struggle ensued. At some point
during the struggle, an officer shot Taylor.
Taylor's great uncle, Clyde Fuller of Grand Prairie, Texas, described Taylor as "a good kid" and said he didn't believe that Taylor was trying to commit a crime.
"They say he's burglarizing the place by running up in there? Nuh-uh. Something doesn't sound right," Fuller told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Seriously though; he could've been messed up on drugs or alcohol.
It's possible that he wasn't trying to rob the place. Seems like a ridiculous robbery attempt. Probably intoxicated & racing his car.
-
Who cares.
-
Good riddance....The moron was robbing a car dealership in the middle of the night.....Why try to make hero's out of criminals?
-
Isn't there some degree of unspoken criminal contract? I mean, if you break the law by driving vehicles into buildings, don't you inherently accept that this is a major deal thus accepting the fact that both the cops will come after you and they will use violence against violence?
-
Trespass and attempted burglary...
Depends what happened at the scene to find out if the cop used excessive force.
-
I wonder how many lives are now better off and safe from future victimization now that this man is dead, seriously.

You know, all the race bullshit aside, it sucks. When I was in college, I did some pretty stupid things that could've got me hurt or killed. In this instance, it seems this dude was fucked up and made some poor decisions that ultimately cost him his life.

After watching this material and few versions of it, I am pretty sure it wasn't murder, but more like an euthanasia..That blockhead was simply too stupid to be alive ;D
Seriously, just like Lee Priest in recent interviews, this guy were too heavily medicated, and it is impossible to tell how he would behave when he see cops. You know cops, one slightly threatening move, and they fill you with copper coated led. I bet there is plenty of video material also from inside the dealership, so let see when that is in the YouTube.

Top 10 Most Dangerous Jobs in the Country: Police Officer is NOT on the List
http://thefreethoughtproject.com/cop-top-10-dangerous-jobs-country-tanks/
We work very hard to not make that top 10 list. We train, invest in equipment, establish protocols that require back up on potentially dangerous calls. Anyone who refers to a list and determines policing isn't a dangerous occupation is ignorant to reality
-
The cop was fired. Violated all sorts of rules by sneaking into the building alone, without backup or telling the other officers.
The chief said he's letting the criminal justice system play out before announcing any charges.
Sounds like dude wouldn't get on the ground so the not-even-a-rookie-yet cop wanted to play hero, got scared and opened fire. There's a reason they have all sorts of non-lethal weapons and work in groups. You don't just shoot holes in everyone that doesn't listen to you - you use non lethal means, and you arrest, send to prison.

240, how many feet was there between the cop and victim?

Bad shoot all the way. Kid unarmed...clearly intoxicated or on drug. Absolutely no reason to use deadly force. Chief did the right thing firing the guy. Should have never been a cop

dunno, unlike in ferguson, the police dept hasn't leaked false details.

The officer had plenty of options from a Taser to even a good ass beating from a baton. Even worse, he ignored his senior training officer's instructions which would have prevented this from happening.
When a police dept fires an officer and even the union says fuck em.....that tells you something

Of course it does, but you call it like you saw it. How do you know "absolutely"? Jury cleared Zimmerman, you think they got it right?

I think the word of his senior training officer and the police chief is enough.
Beating and Taser at most. Bang Bang = No No

so anyone fucked up should be shot? Cmon he was a dumb fuck jumping on cars. Throw his ass in prison not kill him lol.
Exactly. Cop went for the most lethal option. And didn't wait for backup.
Had he did what he was supposed to do, the kid would have been arrested, booked come down off of his high, bail or release, and a court date set.
-
Had he did what he was supposed to do
... he's tucked in bed, sober and peaceful, instead of terrorizing dealerships in a drug-fueled psychosis, mistaking sports cars for bouncy houses.
Consider the mindset of a dude who just drove through a f'n showroom window. We have no clue how the off-camera confrontation went down, but the cop had a pretty good idea what he was up against.
Yes, violated policy. Fire him. Fine. A little perspective, though? Do we ever get tired of defending these impossibly idiotic assholes?
-

It's action / reaction.
Stop doing stupid shit.
I can't remember the last time a cop just walked up and shot a random person for no reason at all.

Yes, he is responsible for his actions and should have been ARRESTED and THROWN INTO A CELL. Cops are not judge, jury, and executioner. He had no reason to use lethal force. He will likely not be found liable by a grand jury since there's no video but he's seriously fucked when that civil suit hits em

Last sentence...both parties? Yes.
Both parties made the wrong judgement call that night. What the kid had said before ended up being prophetic. His actions helped fuel a sad situation with a rookie cop who ended making a terribly fatal judgement call.
-
Fucking PIGS
-
the cop put himself into a bad situation.
if he brings his training officer along, as per requirements, they easily take down the kid with no bullets. In fact, the other officer arrived and deployed taser THEN THE SHOOTER FIRED TWO MORE TIMES.
I think those last 2 shots were the ones that cost him his job and possibly freedom. Once cooler heads arrive and tase his ass, you have numbers against a tased unarmed man. Shooting him two more times at close range to 'finish him'?
Dude was a hairdresser who got out of the police academy in March, age 49. Ran in first to be a hero then capped a man being tased. What a mess.
-
Bad shoot all the way. Kid unarmed...clearly intoxicated or on drug. Absolutely no reason to use deadly force. Chief did the right thing firing the guy. Should have never been a cop
just want to note.. being unarmed does not erase a threat. Being intoxicated or on a drug does not make you less dangerous. So "bad shooting all the way" is not accurate. Bad shooting considering the circumstances.. yes..
-
Fuck him. He's dead. Whether a justifiable shoot or not, now there is one less 'tard roaming the planet. I sincerely wish for all shitbags to meet early deaths, by whatever means.
Glad hippy-hop guy is dead.

Again, you have no f'n idea what was necessary.

Said what, where?
-
Gotta love how they describe it as a bad shoot because the perp was 'unarmed' as if the police officer knows this before pulling the trigger. There's plenty of dead cops who mistakenly thought the perp was unarmed and are dead because of it. Plenty of thugs and their protesting supporters would have you believe that a cop can only shoot if he's being shot at like its a duel in an old western and the thug gets to shoot first. More evidence of the delusional utopia liberals live in.
-
You stupid fucks...you are arguing over a guy whom his senior officer, police union, and the police chief who fired him SAY THAT HE FUCKED UP. End of fucking story. ::)

No one believes that, Vince, you know this. You were security at best, but feel free to prove us wrong with something official.
How about your academy graduation pic? I still have mine, so I know they exist, and there's nothing confidential about them. Plus, it'll include the academy and class number, which should both be verifiable online. Otherwise, your LE opinions carry as much weight as your training/diet advice.

What type of city hires a 49 year old cop who was never a cop before? And who went through bankruptcy 4 years ago. Correct me if i'm wrong but this guy was a hairdresser before becoming a cop? LMFAO! The police chief who hired the old man needs to be looked at. How many "straight" hairdressers are there really? Was the chief screwing around with the hairdresser and gave him a job as cop? The whole story is weird. This cops father n law was sentenced to death. No way this guy should have ever been hired...

How did he get the job? 49 years old with zero experience and money problems. Come on, read between the lines. He was basically a hair dresser...The guy also was a fan of Michael Sam and enjoyed watching Ellen...

Well if you must know...got into a fight with another officer in intake after restraining a woman in a cell. We had some beef for quite some time. Probationary termination for me by the Greenville County Council since I was there less than 6 months (had a lousy 48 hours to go) ;D. Other guy got fired from GCDC and his job as a sheriff that he was about to start.
I honestly didn't like that job anyway. Pay was good for 2000...11.19 an hour and plenty of overtime but a shitty and very dangerous job being locked up in a pod of over 120 pieces of human trash keeping them under control. I got urine thrown on me on my first day....at least I got some payback though. Its actually the only job I've ever been fired from but I was taking tren at the time. Didn't lose my SLED Certification since I wasn't technically fired so I went back to my security job the following day

Comes with the job. That's why correction officers are hard to find. They actually offered me my job back a year later and again in 2007 to which I declined. There were never any blows thrown but at the time, the Greenville County Council was looking for any excuse to get rid of officers to cut down on the budget.....now they are begging people at Job Fairs and literally lying just to get people to sign on.

wrong, municipalities fire officers to distance themselves from civil liability all the time. It rarely works and often the officers get their jobs back through arbitration. Unless the officer is on probation. Its far more political than just fucking up.
