They are seeking whites or the white cops that have killed unarmed black men to value their lives. And when they do, black people will go by that valuation. Again, that is wrong and warped. Fix your perception of reality---have respect for your communities, and command respect from others. Also, blacklivesmatter---that means your sons, daughters, women, and men. If you truly believe that, then you would show that to each other, and go hard not just on the police, but on those within your community.
What is happening is complex soup of issues, and people think that there is an instant fix for it. There is not. What it takes is for black folks (black men) to stop co-signing on the stereotype of black man=criminal behavior. And for Law Enforcement to stop unfairly and unjustly stopping or aggressively handling black males. Like they are some sort of rogue superpowered human. Also, people are going to have realize, the quality of the people in Law Enforcement represent the quality of the people in or around the community. They is saying a lot about Americans.

whether its because that they first say the hashtag or not, it still helps to raise awareness. It is still in it's grassroots phase. And as such there is a lot of emotion, lack of cohesiveness, but lots of energy. It just needs better leadership, better focus and scope. If they develop that, then it will be truly a movement to be seen.

Yes, they should be concerned about black lives being destroyed - by ceasing criminal behavior. If they get pulled over by a cop, behave like any law abiding citizen and move on. A black 18 year old that lunges after a cop's weapon or hits him in his squad car is actually committing a crime and becoming a criminal the moment he takes those actions. Was it their first time? We're they on probation and violated it? Look up Drug Court and the various states that have them. A way for people who get caught with the drugs to not have it on their records---go to the drug court, complete program...no conviction on one's record.
Now who does this help out? If you get caught with the drugs and you are not a user, then you obviously must be a dealer. So, you don't qualify. If you are going to oh, a certain part of town to get your drugs, and your parents want to get you in a program, this fits right in. Especially if are deemed worthy to have a job.

The problem with several blackliesmatter supporters is that they think only blacks have issues with police, that whites are never killed by cops and that white (or non black) people getting killed is not a problem and it just undermines their "issues". And that is why they stick with "blacklivesmatter" because they only pretend to care about blacks (while ignoring black on black crime) and are just as hypocritical as those who are described in the image above.

The problem with several blackliesmatter supporters is that they think only blacks have issues with police, that whites are never killed by cops and that white (or non black) people getting killed is not a problem and it just undermines their "issues". And that is why they stick with "blacklivesmatter" because they only pretend to care about blacks (while ignoring black on black crime) and are just as hypocritical as those who are described in the image above.
Surely everyone has issues with police, and it's fair to mention, but the percentages of black people killed by police vs. white people killed by police are extremely skewed to one direction.
Also, while black on black crime is surely a problem and that's a problem, white on white crime is just as bad really. Most white people are killed by white people, just like most black people are killed by black people.
Now, if you want to say there are issues with the black community, absolutely, but they are not issues related to government or "the man" so to speak. They are issues that need to be resolved inside of the black community and they DO need to be resolved.
Still, they are two different things and are not really related.

when i was young and poor, cops fcked with me when I was stopped for simple traffic violations.
now that i'm older and less broke, they're very respectful when stopping me. I'm a working man who looks them in the eye, carries the permit (good guy card!) for 19 years now. I'm the perfect freakin law abiding citizen. When a light burns out or whatever, they never give a ticket. When I was young, they'd look for little things. Maybe they know older people will call their attorney and have their asses on the news lol.
I think they judge all young and/or poor folks with that same mindset. A 19 year old white Eminem looking kid will get hassled, and a 60 year old black Colin Powell will not.
