Title: FDA approves first "female Viagra"
Post by: Never1AShow on August 18, 2015, 07:44:48 PM
The first prescription drug to enhance women’s sexual drive won regulatory approval on Tuesday, clinching a victory for a lobbying campaign that had accused the Food and Drug Administration of gender bias for ignoring the sexual needs of women.

The drug — Addyi from Sprout Pharmaceuticals — is actually the first drug approved to treat a flagging or absent libido for either sex. Viagra and other drugs available for men are approved to help achieve erections, or to treat certain deficiencies of the hormone testosterone, not to increase desire.

Apparently it works on lowering serotonin in the brain not by blood flow to the genitals.

Well it improves blood flow to the area which in my experience seems to correlate with higher arousal in women also.  For some reason the FDA disagreed.  So now we have chicks who will use psychotropic medication for horniness.

Nice, fine and all that.

I just have a hard time believing that a woman who does not want to have sex will ever want those pills?

Can they prescribe these to man in a easily soluble powder form...?

Whatever. Broads'll always hold sex over men's heads. Don't know how this is relevant to the thread subject, but ... yeah, whatever.
