What's strange though is the weather in SoCal wasn't as hot as normal
Heat Index in Iraq....165 !

NOAA: Hottest July on record confirmed, warmest year possible
(CNN)—[Breaking news update, 11:16 a.m.]
The average global temperature for July 2015 was the highest for any month since record keeping began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said. The first seven months of the year also had all-time global record highs.
The latest global temperature data make it likely that 2015 will be the hottest year on record, the agency said.
Record cold in the winter? "Just weather"
Record heat in the summer? "Climate change"
::)
Not an expert in Global Warming, but doesn't the Global Warming model include extreme cold as well?
The world is warming, but we don't know if it's related to mankind or not.
Sure, ultra-liberals like Gore, hilary, Palin and Newt have done interviews and blamed man for it.
But they're idiots, as are those who embrace them.
don't forget all those left wing socialists at the US NAVY.

"Global warming alarmists and their allies in the liberal media have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper asserting there is a 97-percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97-pecent consensus relied on the authors misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global warming skeptics. At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a meaningless survey question so they could twist the responses to fit their own preconceived global warming alarmism."

LOL, look at NOAA's temperature map. They just ignored the arctic and antarctic because they didn't fit the preferred hypothesis. Just more crap science from the Global Warming fraudsters.
Far more red than blue.. "average global temperature"- local temps don't invalidate. Climate vs weather...???
Bullshit , it was only 117 in Palm springs , 136 in death valley, and 127 in Arizona the last 2 weeks

from the author of the study enjoy:
In a sense, there is no such thing as climate change denial. No one denies that climate changes (in fact, the most common climate myth is the argument that past climate change is evidence that current global warming is also natural). Then what is being denied? Quite simply, the scientific consensus that humans are disrupting the climate. A more appropriate term would be “consensus denial”.
There are two aspects to scientific consensus. Most importantly, you need a consensus of evidence – many different measurements pointing to a single, consistent conclusion. As the evidence piles up, you inevitably end up with near-unanimous agreement among actively researching scientists: a consensus of scientists.

lol....yes. Global warming, climate change or whatever they're going to call it this week is complete bullshit. Hope this helps. I read something last week that totally debunked that.
I spent my summer in sweden and it was the worst summer ever. Cold and rainy and cloudy...i missed pyongyang every day(http://therealsasha.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/kim-ong-un-meme-3.jpg)
Yes, yes. I also think that humans are affecting the environment. It would be foolish to think otherwise. I just happen to disagree on the scope of that effect and, more importantly, the absurd policy prescriptions for the effect. I further believe that the political forces pushing hardest for global warming and its punitive policies are the very people that stand to gain the most monetarily.
And I believe that the policy prescriptions are designed to cripple, if not outright destroy, western civilization.
And so, I not-respectfully disagree with the 97%. And even if it were 100%, I would disagree with all of them. I do not give the slightest fuck about the "science" shat out by a person with monetary gain on the line.
if you have a link to an article which completely debunks global warming, please post it.
Gore, Clinton, Romney, Palin, they keep blaming man for it!

Very strange, as most of the climate skeptics are on the payroll of the oil and coal industries.
here is the thing: more CO2 in the atmosphere means more energy trapped in the atmosphere and oceans. More energy in a (mostly) closed system means more extreme expressions of that energy. More extreme ranges in temperature, bigger hurricanes, bigger blizzards, bigger droughts, bigger floods. Coastal cities will flood more often. Existing farming areas will produce less food. Hunger and flooding will produce more migration, more wars.
Get your backyard bunker ready, unless you live in NYC or south Florida, because you'd drown in it there.

I don't think that any of your apocalyptic prophesies have any more validity now than the last 20 or so that have been wrong. I don't live in either place, but I wouldn't be sweating if I did.
Sorry bro, dispite what you may think I don't live or die by their word. But I'd be willing to bet that wasn't l they said. I mean c'mon, when have you ever posted the back side to a quote by a republican or conservative?
you fogot to add what you do think: ;DI believe that the policy prescriptions are designed to cripple, if not outright destroy, western civilization.
That's a great pullquote. Thanks.

Google it. Palin blamed man for the climate change.
Asked about that view by anchorman Charlie Gibson in a clip played on "Nightline," her initial response was: "I believe that man's activities certainly can be contributing to the issue of global warming, climate change."
Please stop believing the BS that the gov't puts out:

July NOT EVEN CLOSE to heat record.
That guy is an idiot
Claims of NASA manipulation of temperature data[edit]
In June 2014, Goddard attracted considerable media attention for his claims that NASA had manipulated temperature data to make it appear that 1998 was the hottest year in United States history. In fact, he claimed, it was 1934, but NASA had started incorrectly citing 1998 as the hottest year beginning in 2000.[6] Goddard had been promoting these claims for years before this, including in a chapter of a book by Don Easterbrook,[7] but the mainstream media had not paid significant attention to it before then.[8] Those who promoted the claim included Christopher Booker, in a June 21 article in the Daily Telegraph,[9] and Fox News Channel host Steve Doocy three days later in a Fox and Friends segment.
The claim was dismissed by Politifact.com, which rated it as "pants on fire"—its lowest possible rating. Politifact contacted Berkeley Earth energy systems analyst and environmental economist Zeke Hausfather,[10] who told them that the problem with Goddard's analysis was that it ignored the changes the network of U.S. weather stations had undergone over the last eighty years.[11] Goddard's claims were also criticized by fellow climate skeptic Anthony Watts, who argued that his assertions of data fabrication were "wrong", and criticized him for using absolute temperatures rather than anomalies in his analysis.[12]

Wikipedia, really?
He's shown his work with the manipulated data. More than the jamokes at NASA.

I guess you missed the part where I didn't care what Palin or Romney thought on this. No, I didn't bother to google it.
