It was around show time, he was way off balance. That should be taken into consideration. I have done many shows and things are hectic. He is a big part of getbig. My 2 cents after being around here for about 12 years.

There are lots of section on this forum about bodybuilding, looking at your stats you have made over 4000 posts in the G&O and 13 posts in the training section and 8 in the nutrition section.
Hardly one to be moaning about this not being a bodybuilding board.

I live Sev. That said, he committed a few infractions which would get anyone removed.
First, he posted the pictures of member Be There and of his family (we don't allow exposing of our members). I tried my best to get him to cool off after that incident, as I thought he was simply angered at the back-and-forth that he and Be There were involved with. He got a breather period to settle down and then I figured everything was fine.
Unfortunately, he came back and started to make vile, derogatory comments towards Princess L. One comment was bad enough, but then he continued and that's when he dug his own grave.
I feel bad for the guy, but when push comes to shove, we moderators do stick together and that's not something we will ever allow.

I have not touched that section since. I honestly don't know what they are doing. Maybe now that Onemorerep is back, we can get a final answer. It definitely should be a group decision, not a veto from 1 or 2 people.

Incentive? It should be part of my duties as a mod. I don't see why people's minds get blown over the fact that I would like to do a proper job as a moderator.
Sometimes its just the little things like changing the title of the thread "PIP Wes" to "PIP Wes Craven" so that people don't immediately assume that Getbig's Wes has passed away.
I am not asking for anything out of the ordinary. All I want is access to the mod board (or whatever it's called) with the opportunity to mod other sections down the road. I never asked to be given as much authority as Onemorerep or Princess L.

Not at all. With my proposal, Tu Holmes would have been given access when he was given the mod spot.
I can understand that they don't want to give everyone access, but even if you include all of the current mods (active) there still wouldn't be more than 15-20 people. It would make things a bit more structured, streamlined, and consistent.

One could argue that having input from many more people would actually decrease consistency.
I don't understand why, if your true incentive was to help the board, you'd turn your nose up at the opportunity when given it because it didn't fit with how YOU wanted to help.

Being a mod on a dead mma subforum is not what I consider to be helping the board.
I want the same opportunities that guys like GrapeApe, CalvinH, and MOS have.
But I also say that in regards to all of our current mods who currently do not have access.
There should be decisions made. Either we are trustworthy enough to have access to the mod section, as well as running a subforum, or maybe you need to get people in who you do trust.
But in the end, I can only speak for myself when it comes to my fate. I would just like all of the mods to display some form of cohesion.

Decisions are not made exclusively within the mod team or on the mod board. A lot of factors come into consideration, including members thoughts and ideas, PMs, reports, posts, etc.

I never asked nor expected to be named a mod on the G&O. Even if I were a candidate sometime in the future, I would expect people like Grape Ape or Calvin H to get it. They were mods long before I was, and that should be the order of things.
All I asked was access to the mod board (to prove my trustworthiness with privy info) and future consideration of more mod opportunities.

yes and it´s not just about mma. The martial arts we know today evolved over many years. I always found the History and Religious aspects intresting. Too fully understand and not just go through motions. I like the Shinto Religion.

...and what would be the point of this? What is "good content"? Lame business proposal IMO. I am not fan of his bully-like tactics, sneakiness and lies (telling people he controls/runs the board and can log into anyone's account) or his game playing hanging out on the TO board, etc. and attacking people behind the scenes.
If this board comes to fruition, so-be-it, but it should not be part of the main boards. Stick it down below with all the other basement dwellers (chaos, calvin, grape and the like excluded from that list of course ;) )

Its not that, but Princess posting that quote about you proved my suspicions correct, about what is said on that board. Half the time they probably talk shit about us, yet we can't see it.

lets just say there will be some heavy editing before we get a chance to see it
on a serious note if princess l had that opinion about the board I was supposed to be setting up I should have been given the opportunity to put my side at the time
fortunately ron was able to see that her view was heavily biased with hatred or it would never have happened
im hoping the mod board is a bit more than just a personal playground for mods to view their biase
I was hoping it was more about improving the content and moving the board forward

I am not in agreement with this. I think it's bullshit they make up the rules and change them on the fly, say one thing, then do another, deleting what they said when someone gets their little panties in a wad. The self-righteous, smug, we run things around here, my shit don't stink attitude they display is exactly why I was not in favor of the board in the first place. If they want to run their own little segregated playground, fine ~ then it belongs down in the basement of the "alternative" boards IMO.
So is that the reason the thinly veiled board was formed? ::) They've already started eating their own. Just a matter of time before they implode.

I think Sev did a good job in the time he prepared, especially considering the starting point. For him to look like the other guys in that time frame is unrealistic.

I’m not having a dig at Sev. He did a good job overall. It’s just that his end product would have been far more suited for a physique contest than a BB one. His lack of mass when compared to the others is the first thing you notice.
