Adonis, if you can hear me....Do you yo yo in weight? cutting down then blowing up? Durianrider claims all calorie restricters do...  I am trying to get cut for first time ....   Do your principles work long term? 6-6 285 here.

I expect getbig response, but I am genuinely curious about this.   This guy does a lot of cardio, and eats all fruit, and is 5% bodyfat for 12 years +
He claims calorie resticting leads to binge blowouts.  This is my experience.
Maybe wavelength and true adonis do it in a less harsh way, like slowly reducing calories, I do not know I am fat even after losing 30 pounds eating a lot of fruit and doing 60min cardio each morning.   
I guess it boils down to can you stay long term on a cutting calorie restricting diet?
I have never been cut, always skinny fat when younger or just plain fat with some muscle when older.

I've done it.  You will put on weight if you dont exercise but if you exercise the glucose doesn't have time to convert into any fat at all.  You also feel great on high carbon low fat diets and my cycling progression improved massively.  Also follow him on strava he's one hell of a cyclist on par with most pros.
I find a moderate carb, very low fat diet works better,lean meats and salad/veg ect.

Because the body will not re-calibrate itself to achieve homeostasis... in an attempt to maintain a bodyfat to muscle-mass ratio that has been perfected over thousands of years of evolution.

being relatively lean at 12% and being bone dry and ripped at 5.5% is a world of difference ..

Cals in < cals out wont get you any where near there... not by a hundred fucking miles.

The more nice version of me would say: Its hard in the beginning, it get easier with time, give it a few weeks. Then it get harder again, bcz u need to stay at 2500kcal to maintain. The day you cheat u need 3 days to correct. It never end! That's life. Then u will question yourself, why do I do this. The answer is, you don't wanne take part of the average fat Joe club! Club of weak people, weak willpower.

The day u cheat it will become even worse. Its like drugs. They will drag you down. Stay away from bad food, snacks beverage candy cakes everything. The day u start to cheat it become harder and harder to resist the desire! Eat 3 clean meal/day. That's your new life! Anything else make u a fat slob!

If you can stay away from meat the durianrider diet is the way to go. However there's no way in hell I'm living on plants, they just don't taste as good.  Durianrider  (harley) may come across as an arrogant prick but he's trained with the best,  researched everything and the people who followed his diet have gotten much healthier and that's what he promotes, not astetics from food but health and fitness.

what a coincidence... just found out about durianrider, freelee, and vegan gains

im trying their diet for the rest of september

the thing about 2500 kcal... it seems very low for me.  like yeah i got shredded on 2000 calories but i couldn't do anything and my anxiety went through the roof.

freelee ostensibly eats like 3500 plus, has tons of energy, and probably about the same fat level i had.  when i see something like that (whether to believe it or not is another story, of course), i feel like an utterly misguided piece of shit.

Seen him before. I was into cycling for 2 years. They talk alot...cant really comment.

Fat people should listen to fit people if they want to loose weight. A lot of fit people have been chubby and overweight. And now they are not! They got the proof in their hand. And fat people have failed! And then all the excuses...excuses ...excuses. They are in so bad condition they cant move and burn those calories! Negative spiral down to hell. Cant even take a walk for 1 hoer without losing their breath and get tired. Feet ace, leg ace, back ace. No willpower, nothing.

For a fit person, training and workout is satisfaction in life. For a fatty, food is satisfaction. U do the math!

First of all DurainRider does an insane amount of Cardio

Lately he cycled some insane distance in North Korea and Cambodia.  He is has some videos of him following the pro cycling teams as they trained in Australia.  Up the hills he is able to pull over 5 watts/kg which is close to a Pro continental rider. At one time he was advocating 30 bananas per day.  I enjoy his youtube videos and do follow him on Strava.

Durianrider goes well on his vegan diet but almost everything else he talks about his horseshit like Vegan Gains, cherry picked data and studies that are basically anecdotes in a sea of contradictory information. Veganism is a political movement more than it is a science-based diet. Anyone noticed these people all are girls too? Vegan 'Gains' deserves a good belting. Calories in vs calories out works, its up to you whether or not you want to use foods higher in volume so you feel fuller and get more nutrients.
