Title: Milos Sarcev appreciation thread
Post by: El Diablo Blanco on September 02, 2015, 09:22:57 AM
Milos' contribution to bodybuilding is vastly underrated and underappreciated.

A few highlights:

He brought Insulin into the mainstream
He brought HGH into the mainstream
He created a new category of supps called Intra-Workout
He had an awesome gym and used to hold free seminars for getbiggers
He used to create "How To" videos on training.  He was always willing to help people learn better ways to workout.
He was on his way to being the next big thing in Hollywood until his freak accident

I know he wasn't the first to use HGH or Insulin but he was the one that made it mainstream in bodybuilding.  Most people say they hate the physiques of today but Milos might have been the catalyst for the large freaks over the last 20 years.

He's a very generous guy with a good heart.

Appalling business judgement, terrible at money management, and the worst taste in women that you'd ever find.

Quite possibly has fried some brain cells with all that insulin and blood sugar mismanagement.

We can blame Milos and the Chad for blowing out a few kidneys but in the end it's the fault of the guy taking the drugs.

It is Slavic.

The most famous Milos was a Serbian warrior.

I doubt that's it :D
To me it seemed like he was in a rec drug induced psychosis when he posted here last time.

Yeah but he was entertaining and was very inviting to getbiggers to go to his Gym.  Despite being a snake oil salesman he had an open door policy for any getbigger and would spend time training them.

Haha yes, I remember he said "Van Buildthatass" was welcome to train there for free  :D

I have heard that quite a few pros scammed him out of money.

Luke Wood surely appreciates Milos.

I liked when Luke got upset here because people ripped Milos. Luke was offended some here refers to Milos as Misko (or something similar) as he never heard anyone call him that to his face......

Alot of misdirected passion in Luke....

But why is Milos blamed for Luke dying? What did he have to do with it? The way Luke looked Milos probably tried to get him to lower his doses.  :D Plus Luke OD'd on thyroids in Thailand and it's Milos' fault?

Great point, I don't think, nor would anyone with any sense, Milos was to blame for Luke's death. I think it became a getbig thing, Luke got blasted hard here, people would tell him he looked like death, etc, and then he died.

Milos caught the brunt of it because Luke defended his methods and Milos also hyped Luke as a competitor, but I thought it was discovered Luke also had other issues besides bodybuilding drugs.

Milos continually got flamed but he dished it back (in his defense I think Luke did as well).  He seemed pretty honest and forthcoming and was open about whatever personal issues were public. I thought he and coach had an ongoing debate. He is missed here.

Honestly  I think most pros had fun ripping others here, but Luke's death, the Titus and Prince meltdown, Kamali threats, Hank Wood outing, Milos arrest/divorce/moving,  and so on started to hit to close to home.

I would never hire that guy. He has guys do circuit training for fuck sakes. I think these guys purposely come up with methods that make no sense just so we talk about them.

Circuit training man! WTF???

The issue was Luke put a 3x next to anything Milos prescribed, was never going to end well. Still a very nice guy and a real shame that his addicted nature took him over the line, and he could not listen to anyone or heed the many warning signs along the way.
