I got an android box a few weeks back and it has all tv shows on it and ffinished waching Hannibal
Any suggestion for what next? I hear True detective and Gotham are good
-
Been watching Agents of Shield.
Once you get through the slow start, it's been really good.
Also check out some of the Hulu originals, they are quite funny.
-
Narcos on Netflix is very good.
Bosch on Amazon Prime is pretty decent.
The first season of a show called Tyrant was good, I haven't seen the second, so I can't judge it.
Sons of Anarchy is still pretty good.
Ray Donovan on Showtime is very good. Banshee is good, if you are willing to view it more as a live action comic book.
HBO's Deadwood, The Wire, True Detective (season one), Boardwalk Empire, Oz, The Corner, and The Sopranos are all good if you haven't seen them. I'd watch them in that order. Treme was excellent, but might be too American.
-
The Last Ship
-
Also Mad Men was great if you're willing to devote a good amount of time to it. It works well as block viewing, but might be a bit too involved for casual watching.
-
Vikings
Sons of Anarchy
Game of Thrones
Banshee
Penny Dreadful
Deadwood
Boardwalk Empire
Oz
Sopranos
-
Rome
Hell on Wheels
-
Spartacus series
Walking Dead
American Horror Story
From Dusk Til Dawn The Series season 1 was decent. Season 2 just started. No idea how good it is.
Campy I know... but I am currently watching Scream
Which android box model did you get? I have the MxQ. No instructions with it (well, not in English). It has been a learn as you go experience so far. Very good and I enjoy it, but had to blow the whole thing off and install everything all over again this past Sunday. 6 hour job because I had to search like a mofo on the net for the root of the problem and then find instructional videos on Youtube showing me how to fix it.
-
Who's the Boss
Family Ties
The Andy Griffith Show
ALF
Knight Rider
Perfect Strangers
Charles in Charge

by season 3 or 4, you are going to want to finish watching that shit, at least i did
-
Sherlock.
You might like a British series called "Ripper Street", it's a period piece, but has a similar feel.
-
Just started Sons of Anarchy. Not sure how I missed it when it came out. So far, it's really good.
Last two seasons are poop....just gets ridiculous.

-
The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret - Funny as shit. I still laugh at the Rape Kit.
Eastbound and down - One of the funniest shows ever.
-
The Office
And surprisingly...Entourage . Tried watching it 3x prior, thought it blew..turned out to be solid.
Like art, it's all opinion in the end.
-
not found one show with the pace, action, tension to match 24, a slow episode of 24 is better than most action films put out today and kiefer sutherland is badass as bauer
-
If you like weird sci-fi, check out Fringe, excellent show. And, of course, The X Files.
And if you like bodybuilding, check out the Fridge.

The Master (ninja show)
Facts Of Life
Air Wolfe
There was some show about some kids that gained super powers and went off being heroes... (not the Heroes that was on couple years ago). Can't remember too much about it but on of the kids was a guy that had electricity powers. Couldn't get wet though. It was like the Breakfast Club with super powers.
-
DOWNTON ABBEY
GAME OF THRONES
ENTOURAGE
BOARDWALK EMPIRE
-
the original (BBC) version of Being Human
the original (BBC) version of Life on Mars
Spy on Hulu (also BBC)

Did they bring back Salma for it? ;D
No, but they do get a lot of cameos and share a lot of in jokes from the whole Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez film universe. And there are a lot of good looking women in it, along with lots of campy violence. Here is the episode that started this season -
.
It's a bit hard to describe last season, but at the start of this one, the Gecko Brothers have escaped, and are forced to separate, with Ritchie, now a vampire, wanting to marry Satanico(Selma Hayek's character from the film). Seth goes with the preacher's daughter from the movie, who wants to make it back to the Titty Twister to save her brother from the whole vampire cult that is based there.
Selma and Richie are being chased by the rest of the Titty Twister vampires due to a bunch of infighting between rival clans, and they all are also being chased by a young lawman, who's partner was killed at the start of the series.
It's a bit complicated, but it meshes together decently if you can watch the whole series.

i watched ep 1 and didn't like it, was basically the movie but stretched out with changes here and there, can't really see the point in it

Great show... Another great one is "The Shield"...

Great show... Another great one is "The Shield"...
The Shield - you'll love it.
The difference between The Shield and SOA is that The Shield remained great through seven seasons and had a fantastic conclusion. SOA got ridiculous and had too many huge events that happened that should have resulted in the elimination of characters much sooner in the series. There was no way that some of them could continue to co-exist for years after what transpired.
The Shield / SOA tie in on SOA was awesome though, especially at the end of the series. Even though the end was stupid.
-
I'm hoping great things for a new series starting Oct 10, on BBCAmerica
it's called "The Last Kingdom" based on the Saxon series books by Bernard Cornwell.
-

My 2016 round up so far -
11-22-63 with James Franco, based on the Stephen King book, has been my favorite series of 2016. Quality production, and they didn't stretch it out too long -
.
Hap and Leonard turned out to be pretty good, although a bit too sitcomy in spots, but pretty close to the book(s). This channel has all of them up, with a few music related glitches -
videos .
I liked Vinyl, and think it will be a slow grower. One of the shows critics will look back on, and say "hey, that was a good show". I can see why some folks find it uneven, it just isn't super actiony the way that many of the more current HBO series were/are. It's also a music period piece, so you've got to be in the mood for that too.

Season was too short IMO. I thought it was a great show though.
Guessing next season he jumps back into the wormhole and a new adventure begins?

Nope, totally done. Franco just signed up for a straight adaption of the book, and not to turn it into a series.
He tried this short web series based on Maury Terry's book, and the conspiracy theories that surround the Son of Sam murders. I wish they'd rework it in a series or maybe a season of True Detective, because it came out really well. Very dark -
.
He's also got a series from David Simon coming out late 2016/2017 on HBO about the mob, pornography, and street life in Times Square during the 70's.
-
11-22-63 was great..
If you like Guillermo del Toro.. Check out The Strain
-

The Andy Griffith Show
ALF

Perfect Strangers

Hard water War
I'm not sure what's up with Netflix and Norwegian tv but they are all good. Occupied has a little to much reading and not enough English but it's really good.
-

JUDE, Downton Abbey is pretty damn accurate historically in describing the British lifestyle changes among the aristocrats after WWI.
I guess I enjoy any TV series which is based on historical fact.
Plus the fact that I do have some royally-connected family members who were personally escorted from the states by a 'liveryman" to England for the Queen's coronation and got a seat "up front".
And that 'royal' wife is very similar to the character played by Maggie Smith.
Most of the family refer to her as "a royal pain in the ass".
Plus this series has won numerous awards but it ain't for everyone.

A girl I am dating wants me to watch it. Glad you approved. I will check it out.

The show listed above... Last Ship.... what is it about? Is it good? Brief summary?
Worldwide plague killing billions. A US Navy destroyer operating in radio silence is doing manoeuvres in the Arctic when it goes down. One of the leading scientists on CDC-type stuff is on board (coincidence?).
Show rules. Especially if you dig very technical portrayals of naval operations, strategies, etc.
Cast is great, too.
-
The Shield - you'll love it.
THIS. The show gets a little unrealistic at time, but it's more intense than anything on TV. Series Finale is epic.
