Title: I was Asked to Do This--Heath/Coleman
Post by: Set It Up on September 03, 2015, 12:52:47 PM
a poster asked me to provide various pics/juxtapositions of Heath and Coleman--this is just one of many I will do for him--I wont say his name but lets just say I would stand in front of a speeding train for him. Message me for other angles you want

Nobody beats the 2012-2013 Heath. He brought bodybuilding to a new level. All the past Mr. Os looked great but advances in the game make Heath the GOAT.

the key thing they wanted was me to make the images the same size (so Phil isnt in front of the line as usual)

The comparison would be more realistic if Phil is standing a step or 2 in front of Ron.

Ouch.   That one is going to leave a mark on little Phil's ego.

Like every other sport, today's athletes/bodybuilders are better than the ones in the past (no disrespect intended). You simply can't compare a 70s Arnold to modern day Heath. The advances in training technology, supplementation, education, etc., have been too great. These other guys were great - for their time. Phil is simply the Gifted evolution of modern bodybuilding.

Yes, but you can compare a Prime Coleman (late 90's) to a modern day Phil Heath. A prime Ronnie destroys a prime Phil Heath.

And obviously the athletes of today are better due to a variety of reasons.

If this is true then why has no one surpassed this

Very flattering pic of a good physique - FOR A 70s BODYBUILDER. That build today would struggle to be competitive in a national NPC show. Those same genetics today are what MPD is for. The board shorts would hide nicely Nubret's toothpick thighs.

It's a great physique but we're talking the sport of bodybuilding, which has come a LONG way since the 70s.

Nubret was superb.  Vastly superior to anything currently on the dais.  There's a reason bodybuilding has fallen so far.  Fetishists.  Disgusting lot.

Coleman is shit dipped in chocolate.  Which is to say, it's still shit.  Heath?  He's what the dung beetles crave when standing beneath an elephant in the jungle.  About the same size and width too.  Both of these turds smell of the filth of their lives.

I think sometimes your nostaglia for the past bodybuilders blinds you to the truth--happens to old people ;D ;D :) Clearly, Ronnie Coleman during his prime was a great bodybuilder.

Small waist, wide, overall, looks great here. Its when he started to get too big that he messed his physique up.
