I agree, victory bars are shit.  So are gourmet cheesecake bars (though these are slightly better).  Try 'perfect bars' if you can find them.  They're high fat and sweetened with honey, so they aren't exactly 'protein bars', but they're delicious.

Doughnuts are the epitome of junk food. Fucking tasty though! Not a fan of the American ones, too sickly sweet.

I used to really like quest bars. The newer flavors suck. The texture is much different and taste very fake.

I ate 4 quest bars ed for months and months on end. I never thought I'd get tired of them. I actually threw out the equivalent of 5 full boxes as I was always stocked up...

???

Mint chocolate chip, white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chip cookie dough... these are some of the best flavors.  One thing with quest, though, is they have some serious quality control problems.  Some batches turn out WAY different than others.

Mint chocolate makes me wanna puke! It's like eating chocolate after brushing your teeth.
The flavors you mention are not the original one's and find them totally gross. The brownie bar was damn good though!

Off topic, but did you ever pursue the Fireman career? I'd think you'd be great at that. Not sure what you do now but I can so see you as a Firefighter.

Also, I read you do Intermittent Fasting. How long do you fast?

Ask a few truckers.  They know all the secrets of the road.  "Excuse me, sir.  I really enjoy a good glazed doughnut but this one has hardly any glaze on it.  Could you help me out?"  I'm sure one will.

I used to love plain glazed krispy kremes, but when OMR told that story years back I could never bring myself to do it.

The thread title sounds a bit like "I'm a friend of Dorothy."  ;D Other than that, yup donuts are good for us all.  I prefer the plain round cake ones the most.

I thought it was about doing donuts in the parking lot of a rest stop with your '67 GTO.
