Title: NFL Preseason...
Post by: Coffeed on September 03, 2015, 08:21:16 PM
NFL Preseason is like breasts without nipples.

Remember to control your E2 and follow up creatine cycle with proper PCT.

For the most part, I think sports are utterly boring and pointless. However, the other day I turned on preseason football for the hell of it.

Okay, who watches preseason football? What is the point? I mean, obviously they werent really trying because it was preseason, but it seemed totally pointless. May as well just forget about preseason all together.

So basically what you're saying is that no one should be fighting for a roster or starting spot and just get on with season already?

No, I'm saying that watching more then the first quarter is as pointless as having you as your trainer.

I don't know jackshit about football, so Ill ask. How many people (on average) in preseason are vying for spots during the regular season? I assume certain positions are already filled. For example, Tom Brady as starting quarterback is automatically filled, so no one is vying for that spot. How many open slots are usually left that people in preseason are competing for?

Today the league will cut around 650 players, I think. Some will be signed to the practice squad, some dreams will be lost forever.  :'(

tebow has learned one move... send 80% of your passes to a thirsty RB checkoff and watch him run circles around the 4th stringers, in the 4th quarter, of the 4th pre-season game.  Just like in 2012, when he heroically led the J-E-T-S to a last minute win in game 4 of pre-season.

It'd be an awesome story to see him make the team, but when it comes to putting the ball in a bread basket at 35 yards, PHI will probably still roll with the inept Barkley, who can make that pass more often than Tebow.  No team wants to be on the "all time worst missed open receiver" video featuring Tebow with the season on the line.   At least dumbshit barkley can put it in the neighborhood and give the receiver a chance.  Tebow will sail the ball 20 yards wide right.

If RG3 goes on the market, don't be surprised if Kelly goes after him.

The one good thing about football season is that the gym is always empty Sunday afternoon--I guess everyone is sitting home and watching the games.  :) :) :)
