I personally hope Tebow makes the team, but even if he does, he will be a rarely used gimmick player/3rd string quarterback.

I like Matt (local boy around here) but how he stayed on a roster for three years and tebow having to beg for a tryout is beyond me.

He'll be used in the 4th qtr. He runs like a 250lb running back.
-
OR they're clearing room for RGIII lol...
tebow should play his position. Don't melt down like he did in NYJ if another QB is chosen to start over him. He threw a fit when the alabama kid was given a start when the starter got hurt. didn't look good.
tebow is very solid with the controlled dump off passes we saw him complete against the scrubs yesterday. Does he get those passes against starting CBs and LBs, when everyone blitzes? no.
he's a safe backup. He's not starter quality. Anyone who can't admit that is letting their emotion/admiration cloud their objective analysis of his accuracy or ability to read defenses and react quickly.

I think Denver should get him. First of all he'd be on a great team. Spend a year learning from Manning. If the Broncos don't at least make the AFC championship I think Manning is done. Then they might have a good QB in RGIII for the next 6-10 years. RGIII had two main issues. 1. shitty team and 2. was thrown to the wolves.

RG3 has a very good arm, and he's a smart person that can learn offenses.
In Wash, there was never a chance to do anything but wing it. If he never gets that injury, never rushes back, never loses coach and has a shitty team, shitty O-line, shitty new coach and Cousins breathing down his neck 24/7.
Give RB3 a backup job someplace, and he's the starter in a year, confident, healed, actually knowing a steady offence. He should go to SEA and just wait for Wilson to get destoyed in the wildcat handoff, it WILL happen. It's totally inevitable, the way RW plays.
Plus wilson is a freakin' weirdo... his personal life will come unraveled at some point. Dating a whore R&B groupee, preaching abstinence, saying miracle nano water cures concussions... his team is trying to keep it together, but he's batty and will strangle someone or something.

To taking jon gruden's job maybe
Eagles just cut tebow

I said yesterday they were interested in RG3. Looks like it may come to pass they just cut Tebow. Could work out great If Bradley gets hurt to have RG3 sitting on the bench.

i wonder if Tebow lands with another team?

i wonder if Tebow lands with another team?
I'm wondering if Tebow will be making it into Heaven at this point :-\

i wonder if Tebow lands with another team?
Could see him ending up in the AFC east. Buffalo, Jets, or even Miami as a backup.

Lol, we get it tebow ...your a christian. Thanks for letting us know...some more. Fuckin wanker douche

Gotta love today's NFL fan. Experts at a sport they were too scared, small and/or genetically inferior to play in their youth. :-*

Agreed, a simple thank you would have sufficed. No need to cram that Jesus shit down everyone's throats? ::)
-
At first religious people were saying that Tebow was being persecuted because of his faith, i.e., no team wanted him because of his overt religion. ::) ::) Which is absolutely nonsense, given that any team would absolutely love to have a star quarterback who is religious, and will lead a clean lifestyle (no drugs, no crimes, no partying, etc.). This would only lead to good publicity for any team.
Now that we got that nonsense out of the way, is he just a shitty quarterback? It seems like no team wants him. I don't follow football, hence why I am asking. A few years ago, he was being hailed as the "next big thing." What happened? Why can't he make a team? ??? ??? ???
-
Agreed, a simple thank you would have sufficed. No need to cram that Jesus shit down everyone's throats? ::)
Oh shut up with that. You know as well as I do an atheist would have flipped out and tweeted f-bombs about he was treated unfairly. Most atheists don't have a humble bone in their body. "Cram it down our throats" let's see, gay marriage rammed down our throats from degrading the White House with rainbow colors to having rainbow colors on the Google logo to throwing a Christian in jail with NO BAIL (even suspected murderers get a bail amount) for not issuing a marriage license to gay people. Are you fucking kidding me?? Tebow says thank you and adds a scripture with #blessed and this how you atheist whack jobs respond. He owns you.

This was a funny Saturday Night Live skit. ;D ;D ;D
After helping them win six games in a row, Jesus (Jason Sudeikis) visits the Denver Broncos to tell Tim Tebow (Taran Killam) he's tired of bailing him out every fourth quarter and that Bill Belichick may be the devil

Has this ever happened?
Also, the nfl loves highly Christian players. Russell Wilson is a virgin and very publicly religious. He's practically the face of the league.
Tebow can't throw an accurate deep ball to an open man. He's expexted to be one of top 32 accurate deepthrowers on the planet. And he ain't.

It seems I hit a nerve with the Jesus part. ::) Jesus, Christian, Atheist, LBGT, whatever. None of that shit has anything to do with sending his former team a thank you. Again, all he had to say was, "I would like to thank the Eagle organization for the opportunity they gave me. It was a memorable moment in my life."
Anything more than that is useless, and uncalled for. Again, all the Jesus shit he parades around in unnecessary. NFL fans don't give two shits about it. So please, stop cramming that shit down everyone's throats. :D

No bail....she got no bail. Do you not see a problem with this? If they find she's in contempt of court then maybe a slap on the wrist or a book and release. But to set no bail means there's clearly an agenda by an activist court. You have bail set for rapists, murders, child molestors but no bail for this?

I didnt know that but likely there was a reason, ill do some research on it. So its only the no bail issue you have a problem with? Why didnt u say that in your first rant? She broke the law but you acted shocked she was in jail...
Your rants are chaotic and lack any thought man. Thats why no one takes your political points seriously. Your blind loyalism shines thru in this thread as well

As a follow up to my last post coach..
Any proof of this "no bail" other than a talking point from Huckabee? I cant seem to find any proof of the no bail other than an angry quote from that neo-con "republican" Huckabee. Let me know, i am interested in learning more

she violated the consitution and shut down the function of an entire govt office, ordering her people to adhere to her religious beliefs.
If some muslim decided to violate the consitution, and refused to let his employees issue marriage licence to christians, we'd all be ready to send the fccker to prison.
she ran for office, won, and accepted a salary to enforce the constitution. Period. Most of the repub candidates are backing away from this dumpster fire of a case too.
-
He'll be used in the 4th qtr. He runs like a 250lb running back.
i am watching the replay on the NFL network. Tebow is a terrible QB in 2015. Maybe he was a 'winner' in 2011 or 2012. But in 2015, he's just throwing up jump balls and trying to run thru guys who are bigger AND faster than him.
start of the 4th Q, he throws an INT on the goal line, tossing a ball soft into triple coverage. And this is against 4th tier players. just not using his brain.

Yep, and still no response from coach other Than a kneee jerk "omg she is jail cuz she a christian and no bail! Librulz!" like some talking point laden fool spewing mike huckabee lines.
A true conservative should want this lady tar n feathered. Only a no-nothing loon would support someone who goes against the supreme court and breaks the law. Conservatives love laws when its in their favor...but it takes a TRUE conservative to support it when it doesnt fall in their favor. Its Laughable to see "conservatives " support her and think she sholdmt be in jail.

Again, pay attention. I didn't say anything about he going to jail although it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaay excessive. She should have just been removed from her position. The problem is NO BAIL WAS SET. The judge has that discretion. As for 240 and the constitution being broken? See EVERYONE in the Obama's administration including the biggest culprit of them all....Obama.
As for the no response. I might be on here for literally 10min on the weekends and less during the week. I don't obsess by marking the notification of a thread just to respond. Plus I'm at work.

Refer to my earlier post about why no bail was set, and keep in mind she is in jail for contempt. That will explain why

Doesn't matter who it was. As far as I know he has the discretion to set bail or not set bail. Just because he was appointed by GWB doesn't mean there was some sort of Obama administration influence. BTW, can you provide a link that he was appointed by GWB.

What do you mean? Its been on the books since 1942. Its the law.
Or do you mean Kind of how its not right to lock up someone for weed posession, like its a stupid law? I dont know much about contempt of court, so i domt know if i agree with that or not, i dont know enough to pass judgement if it seems right or wrong.

She can't just be fired, she is an elected official. Per Fox News:
As an elected official, she can be removed only if the Legislature impeaches her, which is unlikely in a deeply conservative state.
As for the no bail by the lib judge, again, read Fox News (I know, it's also lib media):
The judge said his only alternative was to jail her because he did not believe she would comply with his order even if she were fined.

I'm fine with what Tebow tweeted. But I am curious, do you have any actual evidence to suggest that an atheist in that situation would have flipped out and tweeted f-bombs? You make these grandiose proclamations, painting entire groups of people with a brush dipped in your ignorant rancor...

If you had bothered to read anything about the case, you'd have found that she can't be removed from her elected position without being impeached; the Court cannot initiate impeachment proceedings. Moreover, you suggest that a bail should be set which proves that you are not familiar with how contempt of Court charges works... There's no bail. Yes, Courts can levy a fine for contempt, but the Judge in this case explained why he didn't impose one. He is not willing to allow Davis to disobey a Court order. She insists that she will continue to do so. So the Judge put her in a jail cell and gave her the key: she can walk out a free woman if she simply agrees to abide by the Court's decision.
We live in a nation of laws. Kim Davis is free to disagree with the Court's decision and the laws, but she not free to ignore them.

Tebow is trash. So is Jesus
Tebow makes Barkley look like a third string JV QB yet he even though he got released and traded to Az, still stays in the NFL.

Sucks he got cut, feel bad for the guy. Thought he was doing well.

Thanks for the response....

Is there something specific in the article that I should look at? I tried to read it, but it started off with the following gem and I just flat out decided to stop: "Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis has been jailed without bail since Thursday for refusing to allow her office to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples." If there're going to start with this kind of bullshit, there's no point in going further.
Listen: there's no bail in contempt of Court cases. The Judge can either fine or jail. But there's no bail because there won't be a trial about this in future, so no bail. Kim Davis won't need to show up to face the charges of contempt. She's already been found in contempt. I don't know how else to explain this...
-

She's a state employee and an elected official. She has to follow the rule of the land which is gay marriage. It would like a postal worker not delivering Playboy because of religious objections or the garbageman not picking up your trash because its a sin to waste food. She should have resigned if she disagreed with the law. However, she used her position to assert her personal feelings. That's why there's "separation of church and state".
As far as contempt of court....they're no bail for direct comtempt....the sanction is imposed immediately. It means that you're willfully showing disrespect for the court of law. The court ordered her to do her job or resign, she did neither and disobeyed the law of the land.
Bitch can rot.

Did you read the article? It's what I said this morning before I even read anything about it. Axvo is correct in saying she's an elected official that can't be fired. I never said fired. If they wanted to remove her I'm sure they could have expedited the impeachment OR she could resign. As for her disobedience. Can we say the same thing about Obama and killary? They've destroyed and desecrated the constitution and the law. This lady is a city clerk. I would actually prefer Obama and Killary to rot. They'd do the country a great justice if they did.

I think Hillary ought to face charges for the e-mail situation. If someone with even low-level clearances did this sort of thing, they'd be so far up shit creek that a paddle factory wouldn't help. But I don't see either of them explicitly ignoring a Court order as Kim Davis has done. And at any rate not everything revolves around Obama and Hillary and not everything has to be reduced to that.
-
Tebow is a career sub-48% passer.
Is this correct?
-
Davis wanted jail. Can we all agree on that? She wanted that spotlight, she wanted to take her stand for her beliefs. Let her. Props for breaking a law you disagree with, and taking the time. Make your mark.
But any bullshit about her being a victim is just ignorant. She embraced this.

He had a good preseason. That's what it's based on. Much better than Barkley and pretty sure even RG3 and others who made a roster. If Chip Kelly didn't want him there should be other teams that could use him. He was FAR from the worst QB on cut day. Not that it matters, but I've been doing a lot of thinking on this. Tebow a star HS quarterback, arguably the best college QB ever. Goes to the NFL and gets shot down after Elway releases him for Manning. Goes to other teams where it's said he has bad throwing mechanics. I say bullshit. His mechanics just were not the same as everyone else's in the NFL. He fell apart when other QB coaches tried to change his mechanics and as Tebow is, did whatever they asked.
The mistake was made not by Tebow but by the QB coaches by trying to change mechanics that have been instilled in him, that's his natural throwing motion probably since his pop warner days. One thing I've always learned (I'm not a throwing coach, I'm a strength, conditioning and speed coach so this applies the same) is that you don't change the natural motion or mechanics, you perfect it. They didn't perfect tebows mechanics, they made it worse and uncomfortable.

They didn't perfect tebows mechanics, they made it worse and uncomfortable.
Good point!

Kentucky is a highly conservative region so they won't impeach her and she'll likely get reelected. Obama is President and he POTUS has the power to use executive order as every other one has used since George Fucking Washington. Hillary kept a private email server...so fucking what. There's no congressional rule on it because only 3 secretary of states have ever used email. It wasn't used in the 90's. Everything was phone and fax and you burned your papers.
Bitch can rot. She broke the law.

Funny that we have had to state this like 4 times before coach even remotely understands. Shows u how dangerous far right and far left talking points are in the news from huckabee and the like. His followers dont even look to see if what he is saying is true or not, they just believe him. "no bail!? , im outraged!!!" is the result

Hillary's handling of the email situation, according to what we know so far, is almost certainly illegal. If for no other reason that there are mandatory retention policies – for what are, in essence, government records – which may or may not have been followed. And that's before we even get to talking about the legality and propriety of transferring/keeping classified government material on a private server.
-
Tebow makes Barkley look like a third string JV QB yet he even though he got released and traded to Az, still stays in the NFL.
I wish he'd wake up and play for the Alouettes

There's legal and not legal. What she did was not illegal because there's no law written for it and voted on. Otherwise, every elected official would be in trouble as all of them have done the same thing.

According to Tebow and his trainer -
He had trouble spinning the ball and he wasn't very accurate.

According to all of our eyes, he had trouble spinning and wasn't accurate.
THIS is why he, his coaches, the pre-draft, and all 32 teams said he had to fix his flawed mechanics.
I'm not trolling here - this is according to one of the top NFL throwing coaches - Tebow isn't accurate. sub-48% is awful.
-
He had a good preseason.
RG3 is on the roster because he's not medically cleared yet. If they cut him now, they owe him in full. Once he's cleared, he might get cut, but to be honest, RG3 is way better than Tebow.
Barkley sucks, Tebow sucks. But with the game on the line, barkley is less likely to throw an INT. Plus, Tebow cost himself a lot by throwing that HISSY FIT in New York, remember? He was the backup and they decided to give the untested rookie a chance to evaluate him at the end of a worthless season. Tebow threw a hissy and didn't even show up for work, or someething, didn't he/ Remember the details?

"The coach who spent 18 months re-teaching Tim Tebow how to throw a football is convinced he fixed him"
I'm just stating my opinion and observations here but again, Tebow has pretty much had the same mechanics and throwing motion AT LEAST since high and all through his career at Florida, he did good with Denver and was even named a starter. The trouble started after he left Denver. To the best of my knowledge just about everyone thought BUT Mel Kiper thought he would succeed.
This from Wiki....
At the end of his college career, Tebow held 5 NCAA, 14 Southeastern Conference, and 28 University of Florida statistical records.[80] He was the SEC's all-time leader in career passing efficiency (170.8), completion percentage (67.1%), passing touchdown to interception ratio (5.5 to 1), rushing yards by a quarterback (2947), rushing touchdowns (any position) (57), and total touchdowns responsible for (145).[6][81] Among many mentions in the NCAA Division-I record book, Tebow is ranked second in career passing efficiency, third in career yards per attempt (9.33), 8th in career rushing touchdowns, and also owns the record for most consecutive games in which he both threw at least one touchdown pass and scored at least one rushing touchdown (14).[82]
Which brings me right back to what I said before. You don't reinvent a throwing motion that has been proven successful almost all of your life. The problem was, again, coaches messing with a natural throwing mechanic.

What?? Barkley throws multiple INT's in one game almost every time he's in. Forgot which game it was last season but he threw four INT's in like one qtr.

RG3 seems like a decent quarterback, he just has a terrible team behind him. On top of that, during the pre season, it appeared that his offensive line was intentionally laying down, so RG3 would get lit up. Then you've got players saying, "Now we can start winning!", when it was announced that RG3 was benched. It's obvious that he's going nowhere with that team. :-\

Which has no basis today unfortunately.
Look, I was with Tebow on him not getting a chance, but he had 3 showings to really make an impact and 2 of the 3 were abysmal. He had one "OK" game and 2 shitty ones and his "OK" game was against people who won't even make the practice squad.
So no... he isn't not good enough to be in the NFL and it has everything to do with his abilities and nothing else.

Against the worst players he could get on opposition.

I can think of MANY more that shouldn't be in the NFL besides Tebow. His preseason was far from bad. He had a good preseason. Better than most fighting for a third string position. Barkley is one just for starters.

Who they traded away anyway.
So basically, what we are saying is that Tebow should be still there because he's not as bad as the other guy they let go?
That makes no sense.
Chip Kelly doesn't think he can do the job for him... end of story.
If Tebow did so well, then I'm sure another team will pick him up.
Which backup QB should be cut to pickup Tebow? Since he's better than some of them out there.

And that's what I said in a previous post. If Kelly doesn't want him Tebow has a nice highlight reel from this preseason. Barkley got traded to Arizona, it would be nice if someone picked up Tebow.

barkley sucks too. i'm not defending him. he's also a dumpster fire. But Barkley is about a 64% career passer. Tebow is 47.8%. That's a HUGE difference.
Chip Kelly is probably out on his ass at end of this season, and next for sure. he NEEDS to win. If tebow gave him the best chance, then tebow would have made the team.
Did you actually watch that last preseason game? Tebow throwing into triple coverage at goal line (resulting in an INT) when he could have run it or hit a wide open man. He just can't read the field fast enough. He forces his 1st pass, or runs. He doesn't have that crazy quick mind to see the 2nd and 3rd option.
Good dude. But we're not all rocket scientists. He lacks the mental quickness of Brady or manning, and the accuracy too.

game 4 against scrubs. The actual NFL players are resting these games.
tebow is an awesome story, but at this point, we're arguing about whether his 48% is as good as Barkley's 64% completion rates. They're both bubble players, barely good enough to make 3rd string as a wildcat scrub chosen to take hits if the other 2 guys get hurt.
