I cannot believe how little press coverage this incredible baller's death got!

I loved Darryl Dawkins. He was shattering backboards and rims way before Shaq. Got to see him play with the DR and the rest of the Sixers during the 76-77 season. Met him and spoke to him in the parking lot of the Spectrum. Great guy, friendly, funny, nice guy. RIP.

Very sad. I am 2 years younger than him so I had the privilege to watch him play numerous times.
