His arms do not look nearly as big as they did in the ESPN picture. Maybe its the angle. Maybe he is regressing. :-\ :-\

bodybuilding is all about angles/lighting etc.... that ESPN pic overstated many things I am sure but he is not regressing at all...will show up on stage looking exactly as he has looked the past 2-3 Olympias which is still better than Phinsulina but they will still gift the diabetes neck another win....

I agree. It appears the lighting, and perhaps ESPN used photoshops to enhance his pictures. He looked pretty unreal in the ESPN shot. I doubt he looks like that in real life.

I hope he loses again, melts down worse than Fukushima, and goes on a psychopathic rampage that makes the Manson family look like greenhorns...all captured on film too, for our amusement. I can tell he's got it in him.
I think Phil may be more apt to have a meltdown. On average, Kai appears to be much calmer than Narrow Phil Cheath. Look at all the ranting and raving that Phil does on FB. There is only so much he can take before the "haters" get to him. When he finally explodes, be somewhere else. :o :o :o

That was during the press conference and they are most likely told to create some drama for the audience.
Phil melts down on a daily basis by addressing "haters." Kai does not such thing.

At that press conference indeed Greene got a bit worked up, but Diabetes Neck (thanks Milone79 ;D ) looked on the verge of crying... Even if it was staged, Phildo looked a bit too emotional...

At that press conference Kai was the one doing the instigating and pushing of the buttons. He was in control of the situation and poor phil was looking like he would have started throwing chairs or broke down if it had kept on going. i would expect phil to melt down way before Kai. He seeme to be very fragile emotionally and can't take too much. Kai has been through the ringer so he has a pretty high tolerance for disappointment.
I hope Phil gets himself together.

Phil is the type of guy who doesn't take online criticism well, he "attacks the haters" that would bring up his indiscretions (say divorcing his wife after her very public battle with cancer).
Kai seems to take social media in stride, as he is the kind of guy who has had publicly battled fitting his genitals inside of citrus fruit.
I understand where they're both coming from.

You know, it would be funny if a few years from now, Kai and Phil publicly admit to manufacturing a beef between the two of them to bring about more publicity and ticket sales due to people wanting to see the drama and conflict.
I am not saying that the specific content was manufactured, i.e., telling Kai to create drama when Phil specifically talks about his dad.
But I am sure the competitors are told before they enter the press conference to, "Give the fans something entertaining" or "Create some drama."

That's a real possibility... The two don't like each other, i'm almost sure, different backgrounds, characters, and so on, but maybe a lot of things are hyped up for entertainment...

True, but yet we have just a few years ago a vid of Phil and Kai sitting together on a bus, and the both of them talking about Phil's mom and complimenting one another.
