Title: Have any of you read any of Frank Zane's books?
Post by: Wiggs on September 10, 2015, 01:18:48 PM
He's written  many books there's one in particular I want to get called, Mind, Body and Spirit where he basically gives an account of 365 days worth of training, diet etc. This book is very expensive on the net. Can't even find any downloads either.
Anyway, any of you recommend any of his books?

Pretty sure that won't be in there. I'm still looking for other options vs. paying 80.00 for the book.

I actually had one of his books many years ago, the one on meditation. I think.  Gave it away at some point.  I regret not holding onto some of my old BB books, as they are as rare as hens teeth these days.

I have a copy of his '''fabulously fit forever''
he seems big on stress management and longetivity. he also uses a lot of metaphor kinda like how yoga people do. bought it in my 20's and thought it was too softcore, now at my 40's i realize the true value of it.

I got that MBS for 2 bucks at a second hand book store.

It is a weird one you have to be in the right frame of mind to take it in.

The main point of it is how he has always cycled his training through the year to build up to peak condition at the end of the summer (Olympia time I guess).

Yeah, I was very surprised to see these prices. But the same thing happened with Dorian book. I've had that one for 15 years though.
