Was it an old white guy that got taken out? And I am sure that the dogs belongs to a Hebrew. I have limited sympathy. If you are a white person living in an inner city black neighborhood, your days are very short numbered. If you can't figure out that it's time to go live with your own people, then Darwin will take another scalp.

Woman should be charged with attempted murder. Plain and simple...Read that she is in jail on 35k bail. Not attempted though. If a person sicked their dogs like that on a cop, you can bet you would be charged with attempted murder...

187 and 188th street is bad. Its up near Spanish Harlem.
I worked on 110th street in Harlem. Wasn't bad around there. The higher you go up, the worse it gets.

A 62-year-old man was nearly killed in a vicious attack by two pit bulls as neighbors frantically tried to intervene in the Bronx, police said.
Francesco Bove said he was heading into Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Belmont Avenue and 187th Street when the dogs got off their leash Friday morning.
“The Father read him his last rites because he looked like he was going to die,” Bove’s son, Anthony, told the Daily News Saturday. “But the Father said he had to promise to fight through it.”
Police said the dog's owner, Cynthia Oliver, ordered the dogs to attack, but Francesco Bove said that wasn't true.
Bove, an artist who lives in Coney Island, did not know Oliver or interact with her. He was in the area to look into restoring the marble at the church.
Graphic video taken from a nearby apartment shows the dogs relentlessly lunge at Bove as he twists on the ground. A good Samaritan stood over Bove to protect him as the dogs kept up their assault, even dragging him to the curb with their teeth.
“It was very clear from my father that while he was on the floor that the dogs wanted his blood, they wanted it,” Anthony Bove said. “They were licking the blood where it was sprayed on the street.”
Several neighbors soon jumped in, armed with hoses, chains and bats, to pull the dogs off. While they whipped the dogs away and blasted them with water, the pit bulls went after another good Samaritan, 46-year-old Emilio Ortiz, police said.
As the action moved off-camera, blood spread out from Bove before he got up and walked away.
“He wasn’t really all there when he got out of that pool of blood,” Anthony Bove, 35, said.
Francesco Bove and Ortiz were transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

Belmont isn't horrible, much of the Bronx is harder than most areas, but around there is still a sizable Italian and Eastern Euro population probably a 1/3rd or better. Riverdale (yes, you guys are still part of the Bronx ;D), Throggs Neck, parts of Pelham, and Woodlawn are all still relatively decent. There are a few others too.

You can't carry a gun in NYC. Its against the law. The only people who are allowed to carry guns in NYC are the people who can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they need a weapon on them, i.e., people who make large deposits of money every day or people who transport diamonds or other expensive merchandise on a daily basis. Other than that, carrying around a gun in NYC is illegal and you will be looking at least 1+ years in jail.
The right to carry a gun in america is NOT granted in every state. Its mainly the southern states.

Good to know. Hopefully I will never need to do it. But if I saw a loved one being attacked a running kick in the ribs might do the trick as well .

The only one i remember was the drop to the knees and rip the the legs outward
At a dog park there was dog that latched onto a toy poodle
There were only women in thier 60's there
I had just gotten there and heard screaming
The dog weighed 70lbs
I kicked it so hard in the ribs that all four paws came off the ground

there is absolutely no need to own a dog that can do serious damage.
no other dog has the same genetic will to fight as a pitbull. it is bred into them.
they are banned in my country for this very reason.
then again, guns are banned here too. no gun ever hurt someone, right?

Clearly, some dogs can do more damage than other dogs. Big dogs like German Shepherds, Rotweilers, Pitbulls, and other breeds can tear you apart.
Unfortunately, humans have done so much wrong to pitbulls, that they breed them to be overly aggressive. I mean, even if you bred a yorkie to be aggressive, what can it really do to you, besides bite your shoes lol.
Humans are the main cause of screwing with pitbulls.
